Beekle the budgie. Named after a minor character in a Terry Pratchett novel.

We did have one fish called Bob who now, upon reflection, is referred to as Psycho Bob because of the way he went batshit one day and bit a guppy in half. He got flushed.

As an aside my phone doesn't like the word guppy and has tried to suggest the goldfish bit in half either a puppy, a filly or a hippy!

Good Morning!

It's a lovely morning, isnt it?

I was wondering... do you have any pets with unusual names?

I have one dog called biscuit which I guess is fairly standard, he's a golder retriever. I also have a cat called Mr Glasses...

EDIT: Sorry, I just noticed there was a pets forum which may be more suited to this question - to mods, please move this if necessary and accept my apologies. Thanks.
I have a lovely house bunny called Mouse,

(a boy too called Pip)

Two hens called Jasmine and Henny....tortoise called Toilus.

3 dogs - Chippie, Taggy and Brian

5 cats - Bussy, Micky-Panda, ****er, Pebble and Splash

(Bussy - after Darcy Bussell,
Micky Panda because he's black and white with a black patch that looks like Mickey Mouse,
****er because he is one,
Pebble - not sure where that came from, and
Splash because he's mostly white with just a black splash on his back).

My dog was 2 when I got her and already named Charmander. We call her Charmy. It's a vile sounding name, but it does suit her as she's very sweet and gentle and charming. I didn't have the heart to re-name her - thought it would give her psychological problems. A year or two after we'd had her I was chatting to the breeder and she asked what I'd called the dog. She thought it was hilarious I kept that name (her then 8 year old grandson named the entire litter after Pokemon). Yes, at least it wasn't Squirtle.

My cat is called Helen, the Tripod of Evilness. She used to be plain Helen, but after the leg went walkabout she became embittered with the world.

Rabbits are Terry (also three legged, but he's not resentful), Albert and Nigel. Terry was born sans leg.

And I have a wormery with half a kilo of worms but I can't tell them apart so haven't got round to names.
