Dab radio

I am thinking of getting a dab radio ..my old one is losing the volume so I won't be buying another Ferguson

I have seen this one
Roberts Unologic DAB/FM RDS Digital Radio with Built-in Battery Charger - Black but can't ascertain if it has a snooze button...do all dab radios have a snooze button does anyone know? failing that can anyone recommend a decent one (with snooze button)for £50 or under

No - hardly any DAB radios have a snooze button. Because the majority of DAB radios aren't also alarm clocks, and you only need a snooze button if it is a radio alarm. If it is just a radio, you use the on/off switch!

A key question is whether you want portability or are happy to have mains powered only. If the latter the range of available radios is quite extensive. Early battery powered DABs were said to consume batteries but I don't know the current state of the technology.
The main brands seems to be Roberts or Pure. I would suggest that you look at somewhere like the John Lewis website as they offer quite a range.
I've recently bought a Roberts Stream i83 which offers a bedside alarm, DAB/FM, USB input, internet radio (wifi), and DLNA network connectivity.

You may get recommendations on here but google shows up DAB with snooze buttons such as this one. http://www.play.com/Electronics/Elec...5|prd:19691705 and this one http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/roberts...liria&istBid=t

Actually, yes. But only two alarms which is disappointing given the range of alarm options available.
I need a bigger beside table now though.

I've got a Pure Tempus-1S DAB Radio which does have a snooze bar!

It also has four alarms, so we've set one alarm for the working week, another for Saturday and a third for Sunday. We purchased the extra speaker for proper stereo and it works a treat!

I have an unused Pure Bug. It's styling reminds me of the alien ships in the original War of the Worlds film. It had two alarms and a timer for recording DAB radio programmes onto an SD memory card.
There was a firmware upgrade to give it an EPG but I could never get it to install.

I bought this Sony iPod/iPhone Speaker Dock with Clock Radio. Looks good and sounds good.

I was looking for one that streamed internet radio but wasn't willing to pay the price.

I found that if you connect your iPod and then use one of the internet radio apps, you actually get that functionality.

I use the TuneIn Radio app which cost me 69p from the Apple app store.

I have this DAB clock radio and find it works pretty well, It has three alarms and sleep timer. As it's a few years old it may be difficult to still find.

Also important make sure it is compatible with DAB+. One day it will come to the UK whatever they say.Just wait till they discover they can cram even more stations in and it will happen sure as eggs is eggs.
