I have just recieved a sim free nokia 5228 brand new, problem is it turns on but only shows a white screen??
im going to go mad how can a phone be broke straight away!!!

Try pressing the red call reject + Green call answer + Camera button for at least 10 seconds.
And then turn the device on normally. this hard resets the phone. If that doesn't work then take it back to where you got it from and complain!

Does it have a SIM card in it when you try and turn it on?

Turns out my old memory card has broke this is reason why it wasn't loading up.
