RACHEL STEVENS for Strictly please!

I am all for Arlene coming back but it's unrealistic i feel personally, its the same with Cheryl and Danni once you're off these shows you rarely back unless you're Louis Walsh..

I think Rachel would get alot of press for the show, it'd be good for her career, she was brilliant on the show, she'll be good for ratings too...

I know she's not great personality wise but i'm sure if she brushed up on her dancing knowledge she could be very good at comments and opinions...i mean Alesha's feisty and she came off as boring...i think Rachel's worth a go. I honestly think Rachel would have been good for BGT too...but oh well

So if BBC if you're reading, consider Rachel Stevens.

Oh can i also mention her amazing 2nd album Come And Get It. Seriously one of the best pop albums ever. 3 amazing singles. Think she'd do quite well now.

Oh and Rachel come back to music please, except play the Cheryl Cole card this time....
Shame electro pop wasn't in back then think with the new download craze she'd do alright now.

I enjoyed her dancing with Vincent (would kind of liked them to have won) but I have doubts about her for this job.

p.s. that So Good video isn't bad.

really the problem with her when she did SCD was that her personality was that of a particularly timid dormouse. as such she would be useless as a judge

Judges on the whole are not noted for their timidity

I was a massive fan of Rachel with Vincent - wonderful dancer and a talented artist, but she was shy and not much of a conversationalist, so many on this forum dismissed her as boring, which was very unfair. Not everyone can be bubbly and outgoing obviously, but as a judge you do need to be confident and articulate as well as knowledgeable, and I don't think Rachel has the right credentials. I think most folk on here would prefer someone from the dancing world than just another former contestant.

I too liked her I think she would hate to be a judge

Not my cup of tea I'm afraid. Dull on the show and I can't imagine her suddenly coming to life as a judge. She didn't even win her series! Anyway, weren't there rumours of an S Club reunion a while back? If so, she'll probably be too busy.

Here's an idea... How about someone with an expertise in dance being on the panel?

I like how you're thinking outside of the box.
Now please get back in the box and replace the lid behind you, that would be Amazing.

Apparently she wants the role:

All I can say is noooo! She was boring as a contestant and I think she'd be useless as a judge

I would expect Rachel to know at least as much as Alesha about the technical side of dancing and she handled this interview well, but Alesha was a girl that a lot of women could probably have imagined having a good night out with.

I am very surprised she has even considered it

I would have thought she would have hated to do something that called for her to be opinionated

Definitely not, no more qualified than Alesha. A proper dancing person please.
