I'd say shabby would have made it to nearer the end if she hadn't have walked Maggi X

Gonna have to give up. Everytime I try to quote a post to reply to DS kicks me out and asks me to log in again. Yet when I go back a page I'm still logged in.
Don't know if this will post or not

oooh it did.

I don't think she would have won but think because she was a bit arguementitve she would have lasted a bit longer than Mario or Dave Maggi X

Agree Amanda, I think at first she did make it obvious that she wanted him back and then the Now articles came out, and that's when she changed because even if some of us never believed him, I think Josie did, as far as she was concerned he didn't love her and had found someone else so don't think she would humiliate herself anymore by then publicly saying she still loved him and who can blame her I wouldn't have either, doesn't matter how much I loved him xx

Bit difficult to do when a National Magazine has announced John's starting a new relationship with Sherrie and John only chooses to deny that he cheated.

If Josie had said any of those things (supposing she felt that way) at the time she'd have been accused of trying to ruin things for him in his new relationship.

I know some want to believe the content of the Now articles was a mistake, misleading or a lie but whether they were or not doesn't change anything as far as Josie and her ability to respond in the way you describe goes and IF John was waiting to hear something along those lines he kind of shot himself in the foot.

Sorry just on and off quickly as running late and another tea to cook.

The one thing I will say is that John actually did say don't believe what you read in mags etc sooo, Josie should know John, should know his capabilities, they lived together 24/7 for 10 months, talked talked and talked again. Remember in the house he said he didn't care what anyone else thought but did care what Josie thinks - was this article a tester - i.e., it hurt to think that you thought that about me. Josie said herself on tv that he would have a gf by now before the articles (something he has never confirmed (girl space friend)) so maybe the articles were set up to see the reaction, not from the general public but from Josie i.e., it hurt him to think Josie thought he was capable of that especially so soon. I was gobsmacked by the mags, disliked the girl with a passion for what she had done to Josie but I'm trying (probably unsuccessfully) to deduce from it via a wide angled lens, from the John in BB11 his way of thinking so to speak. However the mags backfired on John in a humungous fashion and how would he turn back from it - he couldn't otherthan to keep quiet about the girl which he has done. Sorry just randomisms again.

Hiya

Didn't Josie keep saying "he probably has a girlfriend by now" because she had heard the rumours via his friend's mother?

Everyone assumes that the mag story wasn't true, but John gave the story in the first place.

That song, Ooh La La, is about a burlesque dancer:-

The can can's such a pretty show
They'll steal your heart away
But backstage, back on earth again
The dressing rooms are gray

His relationship with Sherrie would have been starting at that time. None of us knew about Sherrie so maybe he tweeted it for his own amusement sort of 'I'm doing something that none of you know about'

I'm starting to think maybe he isn't with Sherrie any more and that his mates want him to go hunting guss again - Gusskings ride again kinda thing.

True, he worked her in to a corner, perhaps he decided to burn all bridges with her to make it easier for them both, he was exhausted and angry and he wanted Josie as far away as possible, that article changed everything and I think John is self aware enough to have known it would.

I don't think that song is about a burlesque dancer, they just use the dancer as a metaphor for women. I think the song is about how women will tempt you, take your heart then stomp all over it, and every man makes that mistake but they must go through it to learn. If I was 'seeing' someone that tweeted that out, I wouldn't feel to hopeful.

I'm getting totally confused too.

I've loved reading all the interpretations and there have been some amazingly well thought out posts on the threads. It would be so much easier if they were all on one thread though.

Agreed - maybe we should just all agree to only go over to qwerty on mag tues or when we have something to discuss that is less than appreciative?
