Its freezing here, even the heating going full blast is not making much difference.

Yep loved that scene and then Josie went back in the bedroom and John was a bit put out that she had got up and left him. She said she couldn't sleep and then she laughed and said maybe it was something someone said and he said maybe and they both laughed.
I hope I am remembering this right I am going from memory.
My worst memory was the scene in the bathroom after Über Cougar when she who cannot be named (jks) tried to find out if John had any feelings of desire for our Jose. In a way I am glad that he didn't admit anything to k before he had come clean with Josie. However, it irked me as well because K had a smirk on her face now that might just be my memory.
After when he was alone with Josie it was so painful I felt so sorry for her he dismissed the possibility leaving her no where to go. So Josie said yes I said you didn't look at me that way ......at all.

She DEFINATELY fancied him and bf or no bf she would have had no qualms about going further with him.

The other bad memory I have is the morning after Über Cougar, Josie had got up in the night and sat in the kitchen on her own. In the morning, there was an ominous silence between them, John was confused if she doesn't like me why does she look upset ( there is none so blind as those who will not see) the silence was deafening and John just wanted their easy banter back. It was so frustrating to see him watching her intently. Josie was just plain embarrassed and wanted the ground to swallow her up we have all been there girls.

Has everyone disappeared again?

Ooh yeah I really did not appreciate her!! I did however appreciate shabby lol I actually really liked her. Aww I loved the bit when they were snuggled up in the bathroom all sleepy together lol! Some of the looks John used to give josie tho made me melt seriously. I do sometimes wonder if John was truly heartbroken when they spilt up hence all the angry tweets not even going to open that can of worms tho lol! I think for a young lad especially to get so upset over someone he had only known a few weeks does say a lot x

Pickles, loving your reminiscing, watched a few clips back over last couple of days ( first time for ages) have to agree with you regarding the' K 'one, total b***h Maggi X

Pickles i watch clips every day ay some point and i must admit i have only watched a few from around that time as i cant bear seeing the hurt on Josies and Johns faces.
I also want to scream every time i see k s face.
I will have to force myself to watch all of them.

The one i did watch was the first converation
about couger gate was when John asked what did Josie say and k replied she said no she did not fancy John.
John Immediately closed his eyes and kind of shrank down
into himself. He was sooo disapointed in that answer.
I think if k had said Josie had said yes John would have admitted his true feelings but he played the i dont think of her like that card to save face.

He is a strange unit at times isn't he.
He contradicted himself many times in the house
if you remember.
Thats one aspect of the likeness between him and Josie.

Yep I think he was gutted and of course heartbreak sometimes can bring out all those angry frustrated reactions.
What I will say is that I remember that Josie said after the blue and no debacle that she was going away for a short break abroad to get her spark back. Now John if we are to believe this was dating and developing a new possible relationship at this time.
Yet it has always struck me as strange that Josie returned from her break and found her spark and when asked if she would go over to OZ replied she would sooner eat her own toenails, this was virtually her first tweet after her return. John immediately replied oh don't be like that ( I think if memory serves) then he deleted that tweet almost immediately. This tells me that John was waiting for her return and checking her timeline, to see how she responded after she had returned from her break and had time to think. I do wonder what would have happened if she had said I still love John and would love to go to Oz.
I do think John was not pursuing. A new relationship at that time ( no matter what he says) because he was STILL watching and waiting to see what Josie tweeted.

He did - he threw his disappointed face/head back on the pillow and said "so what's the fecking problem then?" (I think)

It was soooooooo obvious - that it was a problem for HIM that she didn't fancy him.


But it is worse becuase he thought that he

a) remembered every conversation - word for word
b) said John James NEVER lies - (well not deliberately eh John)

Truth is - although Josie gets things wrong - says one thing then another - she doesn't deny it - he is worse cos he argues the point.

Thats true.
I wonder if he ever admitted that her first words to him were "your a bit handsome".
I doubt it very much.

I don't think he was either - however I do think he may have told Josie that he'd been out and met someone and that is why she came back from the holiday all guns blazing.

Because around that time he tweeted the "friends" video "we were on a break"

I think he was trying to wind her up - big style - lets face it she probably said something to that effect on the phone - something like - stay in Oz beside all those fit women - or maybe even about him never wanting to stay in the UK or have a uk girlfriend - that he was never gonna commit to a relationship long term - you did it for money etc - that is why the girl was from the UK - to prove a point.

I have slept rather late - so pretty soon I'm gonna have a bath. Then I'm gonna go on the treadmill (and WALK) until such a time when I'm slightly out of breath.

I will then have a break before doing it again - I will be walking on the treadmill 3 times today.

This is my committment to myself!

But Pickles if someone had said to me that they would call the police and get an injunction against me if i were to go to Australia, i would think that that is what he would want me to say, so i blame John for that response.
Lets face it they were both too stubborn to talk things over properly, and admit their deepest feelings to each other.
