The latest issue of Elle magazine (March 2012) has a free, 6ml S&G Thick & Fast mascara as a give-away. The 10ml full size retails for £10 in Boots, so the cover price of the magazine at £3.90 makes this a bargain.

Right, personal findings. It's not the most volumising or lengthening mascara out there, but it does each to some degree. It defines the lashes well and is a good, strong black colour. It also stays put and does not flake or smudge. A great daytime mascara. I might use something more dramatic for a night out.

I'm used to Benefit Bad Gal, I'm guessing it's not as good as that.
