Off to Dubai tomorrow then on to Thailand.

Should I actually leave my i phone behind? I've heard the scare stories about hotels offering "free wi-fi" but then folk get bills of hundreds of pounds when they get home.

Anyone got any advice?

Settings>General>Network>
and ensure Data Roaming and Cellular Data are Off.

It will work fine over WiFi.
