Advice about my usage...
Hi
I have the Samsung Galaxy S2 with Three. I got it in July. For the first 5 months my internet usage was never more than 150mb a month. Then, when Google did their 10p 10 day sale thing in December I bought a few apps. Since then, my usage has hit the roof. I wasn't keeping track of it unfortunately. Suddenly, my usage went to on average 40mb a day, although I also had 241mb a day, 152mb and then even 755mb in one day. Bearing in mind I wasn't downloading anything (to my knowledge) at this point. So... how does my usage go from 150mb a month to 755mb in a day?! The weird thing is I have no idea how this has happened. I had to call Three and ask them to block my account, when I woke up one morning and found 27 txts from them saying I had gone over my usage and now owed them £68 (this was from the big 755mb session..). It seems to be happening over night. I've kept a log since this has happened to track my usage and it appears to still be a problem, with on average 40mb usage again a day. I don't know if the Three 'usage tracker' on their website is live (it doesn't appear to be actually because if I download a 2mb app, it doesn't show I've used 2mb when I log on to the tracker just after) but when I check it before I goto bed it is the same as it was in the morning....but when I wake up I've used 40mb. I'm guessing one of the apps was obviously dodgy - although I've deleted all of the ones I thought might be causing it - but I'm not sure what to do now other than to try a 'factory data reset' and hope that solves it...? Thanks for any help

I use Data Usage Defender and it shows what each of your apps are using. I found that network location could use about 60mb a day especially if I was travelling on that day, I presumed my weather app was updating itself each time the signal changed to the next mast.
