This was really good. Watched it last night and it is light hearted enough and Rachel Bilson was fantastic. Loved it.

I like Rachel Bilson and sort of enjoyed the 1st episode. I just hope the glaring errors in the medical procedures isn't going to be a regular feature otherwise i don't think i'll be able to continue watching.

I have been watching it at US pace and have really enjoyed it. Although George annoyed me in last nights US episode (I won't say any more and spoil it for those watching UK pace).

I hope it gets renewed, however if it is a choice between either this or Ringer getting renewed I am not sure which I would go for.

Why can't they just cancel Nikita and Gossip Girl and keep the other two.

i would rather keep nikita and let ringer and hart of dixie fight it out.

i agree about george but probably for different reasons than why you are annoyed by him

the doctor thing is big for the first 2 eps then goes by the way side little by little after ep 4 you barely notice it, i enjoy the show has a light feel, i love the home town american stuff makes me laugh and wanna live there, enjoy the music etc

i do however feel that Rachel Bilson is underwhelming and everyone else seems a better actor and a lot more watchable than her character. I feel the same about the lead in Once upon a time who gets acted off the show by everyone else on screen

Glad to hear it TWS.

I easily overlook medical gaffs in other programmes but i get really irritated when its a medical drama

TBH the scenery alone is enough to keep me watching. I'd love to live somewhere just like that.

I also agree with you that if its a choice between this, Ringer and Nikita i'd definitely keep Nikita (although thats probably unfair to say as i've only watched 1 episode of Hart of Dixie)

It is quite passable entertainment, Mishcoll, although the story of why she inherited half of the doctor's practice was a tad contrived. There was only one real downside for me and that was the over-intrusive soundtrack which seems commonplace on a lot of dramas these days.

Next edition, 8pm, Monday evening, Really channel, for anyone who hasn't seen this series before.

I'm glad it isn't just me - in the end I had to turn the subtitles on to find out what was being said as I couldn't hear the dialogue over the loud music

ITS BRILLIANT, I am sad to say I have been watching it on Project Free T.V. as I love it so much and cant be bothered to wait each week for it. It gets better as it goes along and is quite good fun.

OMG Wade is just a hotty lol. Phew.

It looks as though it might be up for a second series, and they did extend it to about 21 i think for series 1 which is always a good sign.

I hope it beats Ringer for a slot, we need a bit of fun in the evening for a change.

Anyway its one of my favorites along with The closer and a few more.

Watching on Really and enjoying it very much but it just keeps reminding me of the film Doc Hollywood!

I am pleased to say, empty, that the music was turned right down this time (except for the very end) so presumably there must have been some complaints after the 1st episode was aired in the USA and it'll be interesting to see how the series and characters develop. The title is a bit of wordplay because the state of Alabama, where it's set is known as "The Heart of Dixie" (Dixie being the old Confederate states of the civil war period http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Ma...definition.png)

As for Lemon Breeland, there's only one word for her: biatch . Scarily, I once know someone who was worse than that in real life .
