My two year old ginger tabby loves snow. He goes mental as soon as the white stuff touches his paw.

It really is comical to watch

They're not likely to ever see it.

Ah but they suffer in this heat. It was 36º earlier. João is still in Rio with Fernando and it was over 40º there.

I keep mine indoors, we're lucky to have different seasons.

Mine are indoor cats too. When it's a bit cooler they like to sunbathe on the balcony but anything over 30º and they're inside. Anything under 18º and they want to be inside my clothes.

LOL

We rescued a Jack Russell puppy a few weeks ago - only 5 or 6 months old, so today was his first experience of snow.
I let him out when it first started to come down - it was hilarious - trying to catch the flakes, then waiting for them to land and trying to pick them up.
Let him out a bit later when there was an inch or two lying on the grass - he started by tip-toeing about like he was in a puddle or something.... then within 5 mins he was rolling around on his back in it

My cat Kohl loves it when its properly thick. He runs along the fence and slides down the shed roof into the garden then back again!

My cat loves the snow, he has been jumping around in it in the back garden. He likes us to go and play out with him too.

My cat has always loved snow, he was always completely bonkers but when he saw snow his bonkers level tripled. He would spend hours go round and round making circles of pawprints and zigzaging down the garden, catching the snow between his arms. He would start bucking like a horse about the place when he got too cold.
The funniest part was when we had a slide - he always loved trying to run up the slide and attempt to make it to the top, the snow made this game much more enjoyable, he would run up the slide, which was covered in snow, and then would never quite make it to the top rather collapsing on his front and sliding to the ground. He would just not give up and would wear himself out running up the slide and skiding back down it.
Now he's 19, old and arthritic he cant really go out in it for long infact sometimes it freaks him out and he'll try and get across the patio without touching the snow walking along window sills and plants. Occasionally he suddenly remembers and has a burst of sillyness in the snow but he cant bare getting too cold and runs inside quickly.

My dog is not keen but not overly fussed. However my cat hates the snow. I took him into the middle of the garden to experience it. And he sat awkwardly for a moment looking annoyed then used my foot prints to avoid the heavier snow to go back inside.

I have 3 cats. Two of them are looking very perplexed while looking out the kitchen window. The third, my little Lucy, is hopping and prancing around in the thick snow outside, she looks like she's really loving it..I've called her in once but she had something to eat and went straight back outside. I'm just a bit worried about the fish pond which is also snowed over and I can see paw prints on it.

I had a great time this morning looking at them venturing out. They seem to flip between intrigue to fighting it! A little snippet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bPFQZgPh37w

Winnie didn't mind the snow when she was alive, she went out did her thing and was back within 5 minutes. Bungle, on the other hand is a nightmare. She absolutely hates it. Normally we let her out when we wake up but she was having none of it today. I've just found her litter tray and put it by the door outside, she used it eventually.
