We should be hearing some information on this pretty soon! It's due out in the spring after the minor success of Songs From A Tainted Cherry Tree, which sold 130,000 copies, outselling Sugababes, The Saturdays and Pixie Lott's latest efforts at least

Songs released from this era include 'Music To Make Boys Cry' 'Kiss Of A Bullet' and 'Boy in Paris'.

The following titles have been leaked from an 'apparent' source and are rumoured to feature on the album:

''The Girl in the Video'' (rumoured to be the lead)
"Hiding From Myself"
"Beat Box"
"Colours"
"Perfect Love"
"Love The Way You Love Me"
"Dance On The Moon"
"Cocoa Girl"
"Made In London"
"Your Momma Said No"

Anyone excited?!

I liked Diana when she was on X Factor but she became a sellout when she signed to RCA her album didn't represent her well at all

I like the idea of a song called Kiss of a Bullet. I heard Diana had recorded a song with this title. It would be an appropriate song at shotgun weddings!

She co-wrote the entire album, and was very pleased with the final product - I think that album is a pretty accurate representation of her, and a very good album she can be proud of looking back.

Will Kiss of a Bullet really be her new single? If so Diana will shoot up in my estimation (no pun intended!)

It's not a single, just a taster of her new album

I'm looking forward to Diana's second album. From the three promotional singles I've heard, as mentioned by the OP, it sounds like it could be better than, "Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree." I especially love, "Kiss Of A Bullet." If it were a single, it would follow up on her death theme, e.g. "I'm only gonna let you kill me once," "shot, shot, shot, shot, shot, like a bullet..." and, "like the kiss of a bullet, and you, shoot me down (bang bang) shoot me down..."

The only issue I have from what I have heard so far, is that the three songs are all mid-tempo and sound similar, but other than that, I'll be getting that album.

EDIT: I thought Diana was searching for a record label to then release the album? A record label wouldn't accept her? D:

I'm disappointed the promo's are not on there but maybe a deluxe version they were really good and gave a good indication as to where she was going seems she's got total control this time i loved SFTTCT but there were a few duff moments so hopefully this time round now she's found her feet it will be totally cohesive and consistent and i'm so EXCITED!!! for it

She hasn't got a chance of success now she's been dropped by RCA (sad fact about today's music industry), even though she may see more of any profits made if she sells half the amount of her first album (another sad fact i.e.Major rip artist's off).Saying that I couldn't give a damn as I don't rate 'the claw' at all

^^^ Why come into a thread to discuss her then lol?

I think she can still see some success tbh, she is a big touring artist, her gigs are always packed and so she should still manage a decent tour out of it

I think from the tracks we've heard so far, there's every chance she'll achieve some commercial success with this - the material is STRONG.

I'm personally hoping she releases Boy In Paris, because that sounds incredible.

Commercially i don't think she will be huge but the promo's i have heard so far certainly top some of her older material once is epic though so to use it as a bench mark is a bit nonsensical.

God that old ground, " shot shot shot like a bullet....." the boy who murdered love..... Surely she can be more original than kiss of a bullet. Christ.

I completely disagree...

'Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree' was a great pop album!

I agree too there were moments of real artsistic standing merged with great pop but as it was a debut she had yet to full understand her sound

Didn't want to start a new thread but according to Popjustice forums this has been postponed until next year.

What a disappointment.

I hope Its not all electro pop shit like her last album, loved her on XF and voted every week. Her version of With or Without you is still one of my all time favourites. But I don't think her voice is as strong as it was on X Factor, infact I think it started to break and never fully recover after laryngitis week. Regardless I'll be buying this album from little Diana from Blackburn.

I wouldn't say electro, but it's very synthy and upbeat.

Always thought she had her niche with the style of Florence and Coldplay. I genuinely expected an album like Florence's after XF. She suited that sort of indie/rock/pop style so much and I still think thats her niche.

Boy in Paris is one of the best songs of 2012 for me

I loved her first album - was the best album of 2010 for me :P She was robbed by not winning the x factor - hallelujah would have signalled a great era for her but the fact she's still around is a credit to her.

She has such potential! Would love to here her do a collab with a male vocalist - can see her voice suitting a song like broken strings. Snow Patrol ft Diana Vickers? YES PLEASE :P
