Spag Bol
im having spag bol and garlic bread for tea later..do you grate cheese over the top of it when its cooked on the plate ? or do you leave it alone..I never done the grated cheese ontop before so might give it a go tonight..what do you prefer ?

Yes, have cheese on top- parmesan is the best cheese with it if you like strong cheeses!

sometimes we have parmesan sometimes we have cheddar on top

Always parmesan - it's my favourite cheese. I cut off the rind and pop it into my bolognese while it's cooking, to add extra flavour (remember to fish it out before serving!)

Sometimes have breadcrumbs (fried in olive oil, garlic and parsley). Sometimes I totally top it with cheddar. Looks like this http://www.skylinechili.com/signature.php I usually reserve that for bolognaise on chips though. |

i don't like cheeses other than parmesan-type on spag bol. i don;t really like a melty cheese
if you fancy something different, try a salad with some feta. that would be nice.. |

I have Peccorino or Gran Pandano I like it better than Parmesan.....if it's lamb then goats cheese or feta is nice.
