Very good video! First time I have seen it for myself. I'm on Orange and when using T-Mobiles network I can get 7Mb/s (Same as 3), but the full Monty would cap that to just 1, Thad about 15% of the full speed.

I just went into a T-Mobile store and asked the sales assistant if there was any restriction or cap on data speeds for the new plans. She said she didn't think so, so I asked her to check. She called up someone else and they said it was up to 4.5Mbits, hmmmm.....

Do T-mobile even advise customers about the W&W caps?
dringie

T-Mobile have always denied caps have ever been put in place and its a very tabo subject for T-Mobile cus services to even acknowledge it. I have been here before with a previous contract and ended up leaving T-Mobile but when I see Full Monty I never dreamed of a cap being in place let alone a cap slower than the one when I left before lol! Utter gobsmacked and so angry when I realised, then to be called a liar by T-Mobile really got my back up.

I just spoke to a decent guy in t mobile technical services who said that a 1 mb cap was showing on all the t mobile full monty accounts but the official line they were suppose to be saying was the following " t mobile full monty accounts are not capped but speed may be affected by geographical and various different values " they really are a bunch of crooks. I have recorded the conversation and it's going to the ASA

Great if they ask where you saw the ad it can be on their website, the ASA would still regulate websites, or any other ads that promote the Full Monty anywhere in the media. They must prominently make clear the cap, if they don't then they are in breach.

It looks to me like the video proves there is a cap, nice work. As you say on the video it's not good for a nearly £40 a month contract to be capped to speeds of just 1 Mbps and as a consumer you chose between Three AYCE and T-mobile Full Monty and didn't expect the Full Monty to be the Half Monty when you got locked in to a lengthy high price contract.

I just called T-Mobile sales and they claimed there is no cap on data speeds on the Full Monty tariff and T-Mobile have never capped any data speeds. He then went on to start explaining they can't tell what tariff you're on and the speed depends solely on the signal you're getting. He also mentioned 3 had been 'circulating' a video claiming T-Mobile capped their speeds and it wasn't true.

Oh dear...

Has anyone every wondered... Their new internet plans are like 750mb, 1.5GB, 5BG etc... are they all now capped at 1mb/s or are they the existing 1.8mb/s or other?
