Funny in that video at 8:00 and at the end you see him move the phone and you see the Three logo's etc.

The biggest complaint of all is likely to come from somebody senior within Three to the ASA ad they are doing the decent thing and giving people un-capped and T-mobile are cheating and not even saying it's capped so they deserve to be caught out.

My cap is removed for download, I just got 3MB/s download and 500k upload. That still dont beat three but is what I am personally happy with.

Can anyone that has a normal T-Mobile tariff (not Full Monty) confirm if the cap has been removed?

If it has, that video might have backfired on Three a bit.

Personally I very much agree with the principle of making a complaint to the ASA. But I do have a concern:

Do T-Mobile state a speed anywhere? We only know what speed we should get as we know about technology (HSPA+ etc), most users wouldn't know that. T-Mobile have never actually given a speed estimate in their marketing so technically maybe they've not done anything wrong?

T mobile have removed the cap on the full monty. It really is truly unlimited now .. I can confirm I am getting max speed available . No cap whatsoever . Currently getting nearly 6 mpbs

Having just spoken to their technical department they are adamant that the 1mbps cap was never intentional and was a teething problem following the launch if a new price plan. I think they are lying and have been caught out. Anyhow I can now receive max speed. And the full monty plan offers fantastic value at £36 per month . Got to be the best price plan going on any network not forgetting it includes orange 2 and 3G back up and wifi through Bt openzone

Agreed, Three is good but 3G only is a problem in some areas. With this you get Orange 2G, T-Mobile 2g, Orange 3G and T-Mobile 3G. ALL THAT!!

Im in a hspa plus area at the mo, and t mobiles fastest speed is 7.59 down and it flatlines and 2.30 up with a ping or 59.

3 is 9.4 down and 1.6 up with a ping of 70.

Looks like the power of just half a dozen people on this forum have changed the policy of a large company. Just love it. We might also be responsible for pulling their network down.lol. They might also change it back to capped by making it clear in their T&C's at some point. Who knows.
