First time I managed more than 1.9 on T-Mobile. Even though it was "only" 2.5, I nearly cried a tear of joy
Btw, I'm on an Android 3GB plan.

Do you guys think that T-Mobile will bring the full monty on a sim only plan?

Same, I can't get more than 2.5. I wonder if there's a new cap of 2.5. Has anyone got more than that?

I feel this may be the threat of ASA action plus high up staff at T-Mobile and EE beIng made aware of the caps (actually talking to one another) on all plans including Full Monty as I randomly got a call about caps in general from an CSR on behalf of some office and they said we will be offering what they stated on twitter so I assume they meant all customers beat speeds... Glad its come to this and it's not seemingly affecting speeds either as I am getting 4+mb in all the areas I've been this evening.

It may have resolved some Orange customers specfic issues too.

Jordan, I managed 3.3 too, but only tested at home so far. So doesn't seem to be capped. Will give it another try on way to work, where I know I get H+. And as it's quite early, it shouldn't be too congested either.
Maybe all your fellow students are taking away the speed And I am joking, not slagging anyone off

Congrats to everyone who got t-mobile to finally get rid of that silly cap and now you can all enjoy uncapped speeds like us fellow Orange users.

No other networks cap the speed so now we can see how good EE's network really is lol

As an Orange user I have been using it uncapped for ages an the network really is good. Hit 8mb/s on many occasions.

So does this mean (for thw first time in like 5 years) ALL T-Mobile plans are uncapped? Not just full Monty?

Looks a bit like it! Although I haven't heard of people who were capped at 0.3 before if they are starting to see better speeds.
Ajh94, sorry I replied to your message in other thread (T-Mobile/Orange share) to tell people the cap is gone, but just thought I should let them know there too

happy days im on the £7.50 deal from hukd last year and at forst i got just under 0.89mb and complained and told there was no data cap but they would put me on w&W+ and immediately it jumped to 1.89 mb, and then last night it jumped up to 3.89mb and adding to that tmobile have told me i can stay on my current plan for another 12 months on 2 contracts, 600 mins 500 texts unlimited landlines and w&W+ 3gb limit so well done people

I don't seem to get over 3.8. By no means am I complaining about the speed as it's double of what I had before. But is it another cap? Or is the network not capable of more?

There should be no further cap applied and it could just be that in the area where you are 3.8mbit is the highest you can achieve.

In my home I get 7.5mbit in one place and if I go into another room it drops right down to 3.6mbit so it varies a lot even when you walk only a few steps.

Like I said I'm not complaining. Was just wondering as it was in different places, with and without H+, different times of day.

T mobile are still capping data at 3.89 down and .70 up if you are unhappy about this please complain to the ASA in relation to the full monty plan

Might explain the fact I don't get over 4!
I wonder what their Twitter team would reply, if I asked about still getting capped. But I know their answer by heart anyway.

Are they actually T-Mobile customers and not Orange customers roaming on T-Mobile network? And if they are T-Mobile customers, haven't they got that add on that uncaps speeds?
I can't verify now that I am down to 1.9 myself again as right now the speed is even lower. So have to wait till tomorrow morning.

They capped me to 1.9 today so I phoned up technical who have taken the cap off again. They really are terrible

It's possible the technology used to throttle speeds against certain sims/products went down so customers got top speeds by default and now it's been restarted.
