Generally inflated marks tonight

Rosemary 'skated beautifully' (Robin's words) because her partner pushed her round. She shouldn't receive marks for her age. Most of the other celebs were better than her IMO. She does the same steps in a different order every week. I don't care if the marks are higher as long as they are consistent. At least Robin didn't inflate her marks and as head judge should ask Katerina about her inconsistent and frankly baffling marking

Yes, but what was even more shocking was that she gave Rosemary half a point more than Matthew, which was totally ridiculous! Katerrina was well out of salts tonight!”

Yes, very odd marking from her!

At least Jorgie got more than Rosemary - how on earth Rosemary got more off Katarina than Matt is beyond me!

Katarina has oftened mentioned how she finds Rosemary's skating to be 'exquisite', and I get the impression Matthew can be a bit rough round the edges with his footwork. But to mark Rosemary higher on that reason alone is crazy!

I thought Jorgie's skating looked better than Matthew's last night, but Robin often seems to focus on the fact that she spends a lot of time in lifts.

I think Robin prioritises in his marking, the fact that it is harder for male celebs to do the lifting than for the female celebs to be lifted. If a guy is doing a brilliant job of the lifts then maybe fair enough, but the judges said themselves Matthew had to save his lift.

They all do more or less the same steps in varying orders every week

I think Katarina did mark Rosemary a bit high but if you consider that Rosemary did the choreography she was given well and Matt made (on his own admission as well as being able to see it) several mistakes in his routine then there is a reason to mark him down and Rosemary up.

If the choreography they are given reflects their ability then they should each be able to perform what they are given well. The fact is that a fast and furious routine generally looks better to the viewing public. Rosemary got into and out of the lifts well and had good lines in them and her basic skating quality was good. Matt made mistakes in his lifts and his footwork. Heidi's quality of skating is worse than Rosemary's although she has more speed but it's hard to appreciate that through the TV.

I like Jorgie this year and don't find her at all annoying which may seem odd given how annoying I found Hayley in her year.

Chemmy did some amazing skating (that one foot stop! though I guess it may be similar to skiing stops) but is not very polished.

Chico and Seb are both great and deserved more marks!

Robin tickles me when he says to, I think, both Matthew and Jorgie that it wasn't their best performances and then goes on to give them their best marks of the series.

Though he did then justify it with Matt by saying that because his technical content was so much more advanced he had to score him higher than other marks he'd already given, which I suppose is fair (although a very 'skater-y' way of looking at it )

To be fair Jorgie Porter looked like Casper the ghost compared to the rest of her family on Hollyoaks.

Maybe Jennifer was slightly undermarked, being on first.”

I was surprised that Jennifer and Rosemary tied on scores. I am also surprised for the reasons Katarina gave for Rosemary's high score from her ( no disrespect to Rosemary intended ) she gave it to her because she admires her for going out there and at her age etc etc , sorry but the scores to my mind should be on ability and quality not for giving it a go as you are older than the rest.

And again no disprespect to Rosemary, but th reason she glides so beautifully with no missed steps is she is being pushed round like an elegant supermarket trolley , with her feet rarely leaving the ice other than to be held at an angle by her partner.
