It is very difficult to put your "finger on it" as to why the
ratings are lower.

For me, one reason are this years contestants. They don't
WOW me that much (i.e. don't have the X-Factor).

Also, without Jason the judging panel is tame and
Katerina (bless her) has trouble speaking in English and
putting her opinion over.

Also the twists are not well received. If it ain't broke don't fit it.

I think most of these competitive reality shows ratings drop as viewers become bored with them. I have no doubt that the ratings for SCD will also drop.

I think that they need to put more thought into the show for next year. It is definitely too long with too many fillers/ training videos. Also, they need new pro's with new ideas, less contestants and possibly a fourth judge( three doesn't seem right)

I don't like the idea of 4 judges - always disliked the fact that Len has more power than the others on Strictly and it's more important on DOI with the skate offs (though i trust Robin a lot more thn Len). 5 was too many because they didn't have time for them all to speak after each performance.
