Being slightly deaf when i watch TV i have to have the volume quite loud, So that i dont disturb other family members or neighbours i always wear head phones,

I have been using the wireless RF type but we have recently bought a Plasma TV and i find the TV puts out a lot of RF interference which makes the headphones inoperable so i am going to try a different type, I know the wired ones will be OK but i would prefer cordless,

So my question is, Will Infrared headphones be OK or will they still pick up interference from the TV as i dont want to go out and buy them and find they are no good?

Thanks!!

The Senheisser digital ones should be fine. If money's no object Sony do a full surround bluetooth set.

My late father's hearing loss was such that he used a hearing aid (he had no hearing in the other ear). When he wanted to watch a programme on his own, he would use a neck loop from RNID, which nowadays is called Action on Hearing Loss. It had the same function as earphones or headphones, but enabled dad to get the sound input into his hearing aid.

Here's the Action on Hearing Loss Shop
