I really hope he does it - we know Ray pulled it off, so if Sebastien can he might even catch up with Matt

Looking forward to this. He did the jumps last week so i suspect he has the capability of doing it. In terms of catching Matt points wise I think he also needs to watch the basics as he can be a bit inconsistent here. Initially I thought he should have been ahead of matt last week but when i watched it for the 2nd time i understood why Matt was ahead of him. Matt's still the best technical skater in the competition.

Also Chico was tweeting earlier that he & Seb were going to use a harness later & start to learn the Axel. Matthew was also saying at the start of the series that he was learning jumps & hoped to learn the Axel too. Would be great if 1 or 2 of them were able to try it in a routine in a few weeks time.

I thought Chico outshone Seb. But still both my favs.

Yes I think the Russian split jump was a bit too ambitious and there was too much focus on it. But kudos to Seb for being so daring.

Me too. But I have a soft spot for Seb. But still two of my favourites amongst the men and Chemy amongst the women, although Jorgie is pretty impressive.

Especially with the "flipping your hair to remind yourself how gorgeous you are" and pretending to be amazed when she gets high marks. For goodness sake we know she's good, she knows she's good so why doesn't she just acknowledge it. I hope some of the men are more popular in the public vote (we don't know how much support she has) and that she gets a shock later in the season.

Personality wise I prob prefer them to Matthew and Jorgie but dance wise, so far, I'd still put Matthew and Jorgie in the final based on their performances so far. They just seem to be either more slick or graceful than Chico and Seb thus far, though think Chico is prob more closer in standard to Matthew than not.

Seb is a cool guy and his ice skating is clearly improving each week and I actually find him the more interesting person out of the four of them because I find Matthew, Jorgie and Chico, while good dancers, do the over modesty thing a little too much for me (though am sure plenty will disagree with this). Skating wise though, while I find the three men more dynamic dancers to watch I, for some reason, still find Jorgie more engaging to watch. When she dances I do more than just watch the dance but also feel something during it too and tap more emotionally into the combined elements that she brings together in the routine than with the three men. I don't know if its because of how delicately she dances or what it is but while the guys can be deemed to bring more excitement to their routines there is no emotional reaction there for me (despite it).

I hope they're the top 5. Matt I think is a little overrated, yeah he can do the lifts but I never really get a "wow" feeling from his performances. Chico is very cheesy but his heart is in the right place and I think he and Jodeyne have a great partnership. Sebastien is exciting to watch but I don't think he and Brianne have any chemistry. Jorgie and Matt have chemistry and she's got the skills, but now I want to see her doing even more solo skating and less reliance on the great lifts. Chemmy has potential, I think she was very undermarked by Louie last night, which was unfair. She's not comfortable dancing but she really did give it her all and I thought she was great.

Jorgie to win for me, but I like all of the partnerships now. I think Jen or Heidi will be out next week.

Have to say I did find Matt leaving me a bit cold yesterday. He was doing everything he should have been doing - nice steps, great dancing, good acting facially, lovely partnering - so why did it feel a bit mechanical?

By contrast, I did find myself liking Jorgie for the first time last night - you couldn't deny the quality of her routine and the depth of feeling it evidenced, same as you couldn't deny how great Chico made you feel

Most annoying thing of the evening was Chemmy's mark - I really enjoyed her routine and I'd have put her above Jen (meh meh meh meh meh) and Sam (whom I'm a big fan of). You always get excited when Chemmy skates, which is a lot more than I can say about Jen

I really enjoyed the routine & it was a real Ice Dance routine with some tricky footwork but the routine did lack a bit of wow factor - just goes to show that you do need big lifts & tricks to get this but T&D seem to be giving those to Seb & Chico at the moment. Perhaps they are holding back on Matt for a bit - will be interesting to see how he does this week.

Seb and Chico are in my top 3 they are really good but since the beginning Matt has been the standout and for me forget the girls its all about the men for this year. Having said that I still think Jorgie has won the compeittion the only other person who I can see winning is Chico.

I really like Chico, and I couldn't stand him on X-Factor! He seems like a genuinely nice guy, he clearly works hard and listens, and his skating is brilliant to watch. Don't know if he'll win, think Jorgie probably will, but I've enjoyed Chico as a contestant.

I totally agree about Matt; he doesn't seem to do anything wrong, but something is lacking - maybe personality? I don't know, but he's left me cold most weeks.

Also agree about Chemmy's marks. Apart from quality of her routine, she proved she can move on her own while Jen can only seem to skate if she is holding on. However, with next week's twist Jen & Heidi may be put in their places.
