Despite Jorgie & Matthew being top 2 on the leaderboard this week I felt that both were not as good as they have been in previous weeks.

Also, Sebastien in particular but also Chemmy & Chico are continuing to improve. I really do think there are now 5 couples fighting for the final places & I don't think it's inevitable that Matthew & Jorgie will be the top 2 and get to do the bolero. I hope the producers & the judges realise this a bit more. The ratings are already falling & they need to keep the viewers they still have engaged & not just keep on pushing Jorgie & Matthew as the front runners. Chemmy was undermarked by louie this week & Sebastien was also undermarked with Matt being overmarked.

For me Matt & Nina's lack of rehearsal time showed this week & with Matt & Jorgie having day jobs on Emmerdale and Hollyoaks respectively it's possible that this might impact on their training in future weeks too. Kyran tweeted last week that Chico was doing extra training and as far as I'm aware neither he, Chemmy or Seb have any work commitments outside of DOI.

I hope that these 5 do make the final 5 as that could make the quarter finals onwards thrilling. However i do fear at least one of them may fall by the wayside before then.

For me my 3 favourite couples this year are Matt/Nina (at they're best great to watch), Seb/Bri & Chemmy/Sean. Would love these 3 to make the final but not sure who I'd like to win yet.

Plus I think Chemmy has a good solid support base, after her disastrous 10.5 week, she should have been in the skate off btu was saved.

Yes I'm with you and I think it's good that Matt and Jorgie are being challenged. The main winners in this would be us, the viewers with more exciting routines for us to watch.

That's my thinking too plus Sebastien wouldn't have had a fanbase at the start either but hopefully he's picking up some fans with his exciting performances.

Yep, I reckon there are more top contenders than just Matthew and Jorgie, the difference for me here is that I don't support the Pros who have already won a Series.

Thats the hype they would like. A close and open race is what anyone would want and , magically, thats what this week's marks showed. Mathew looked like he had 50% of a routine this week - perhaps due to injury taking moves out. Jorgie didn't have a big new move - she repeated past ones and added more solo skating, turns and dancing. Mathew will probably recover and get better routines, and he may prove to be a decent actor - even if he's not been remarkable so far. Jorgie's limitation may just be how many moves there are to give her - and they will need to keep some for the end as she's already done some finalist's moves.Chemmy has obvious limitations on what she can do without an even taller partner, and her dance skills, and she's not an actor. She can't do much that matters better than Jorgie. Sebastien may become king of the spins and rolls and jumps and gymnastics - and might beat Mathew if he's exciting enough. He can't act, though, and they are on unknown ground trying to add his moves to their choregraphy - which may weaken any message. Chico is enthusiastic. It depends how many people like him, or find him incredibly annoying - as well as if he can do anything better than Mathew. Chico may have a vote that keeps him in till the final though - regardless of whether there are two better male performers?

I wouldn't be surprised to see Chico in the final, he seems really popular and is a pretty good skater too!

I think that's a good thing. It means she's working on her skating, and she already seems able to do lifts that wouldn't normally occur for weeks yet.

Completely agree also my favourite three couples at the moment are Matt/Nina, Seb/Brianne and Chico/Jodeyne but at the moment Matt and Nina are my favourite couple but I think it is Jorgie's title to lose because at the moment I cant see anybody else beating her I hope will Matt will but I dont think so think so.

Why does Chemmy seem to be trying to keep up this disagreement with Katarina does she think it's winning her votes? The judges scoring this weeking was very topsy turvy and it shows how good everyone is that 16.5 was the second lowest score. I agree about Jorgie as unless they start to do the added move thing they always do they cant push her that much more until later in the show. I also agree Mathew and Jorgie weren't at their best but to still be top 2 is very impressive.

It would be stupid of Mathew to only see Jorgie as his competition as Chico and Seb are knocking on the door.

imo Chico has always been part of the race with Seb not far behind and now Chemmy is coming up on the rails.

I don't see this at all. She is trying to challenge herself & also I think it's probably also coming from T&D too.in terms of lifts etc.

I do think Chemmy needs to work on her finesse & she does need to do bigger lifts as the weeks progress (though without the routines being a massive part of her routines) but I think she should perhaps stop being so hard on herself (even if it's against her nature & recognise that she has many strengths & skills that the other ladies don't have.

One of the good things i like about all of the contenders is that they different strengths & styles so it's interesting to watch.

I'd include Chemmy in that. IMO Matt ever so slightly over marked each time. I never thought I'd warm to Chico, but I have.
