Hmmm ... I don't know if that's a valid reason because it happens with far too many of the housemates. C'mon MT ... give us another one

Carole
She flew the flag for hirsute women every where.
She is a free spirit not contained by dignity or any equivalent on bbots.
She is proud of her baps and gets them out for the lads.
She joins protest marches.

No one is indefensible.

1. There was an element of piss-take in his vain VT: "I need a woman with a car so she can drive me to Asda..."

2. He was nasty at times to Freddie, but it wasn't all one way. Freddie badgered him so often to tell him why he didn't like him that even some of Freddie's fans began to say it was bound to irritate him further. And Freddie kept saying that Kris/ Sophie's relationship was fake, which was bound to annoy both of them. (I don't think it was fake, but I do think they were both aware of its possible market value).

3. Sophie did a bit of a headf**k on him. She told Noirin that they had had sex in the house then went ballistic when he refused to deny that they had had sex outside the house. I think he was in a difficult situation at the time, not knowing how she wanted to play things; he didn't really deserve her savaging of him later, sneering at his small penis and lack of manhood; and her excuse for telling Noirin that they had had sex was weak: "I didn't think people would take it seriously and I didn't think it would be a big deal."

4. There was something a bit depressing about the way so many housemates dropped him completely afterwards once they realized that he was unpopular and not a social asset. I remember the final BBLB with only Lisa even acknowledging his existence; she went on to invite him to a party, along with a couple of the others, but on the whole he seems to have been treated as a non person in a rather Stalinist way.

5. The Kris mint banter thread is one of my all time favourites...

Good thread!

Hard thread.....

Ok Pete Burns.

1. He does have wit in there somewhere, he is funny sometimes.
2. He's probably hard as nails, inside and out
3. He's loyal
4. He's managed to turn one song and a morphing face into a long career. Been given lemons, made lemonade money. Does that count as defense? No? sorry.
5. He's a survivor
6. No matter how much I slag him and others off, I know you can't really judge anyone till you've walked a mile in their shoes.

I feel better for that actually.

However, in his defence.

2. Having had disasterous cosmetic surgery that took 18 months of reconstructive surgery to put right, I doubt that he has very high esteem when it comes to how he looks.

It's been 'put right'

This is even harder: put the case for the defence for the housemate you like LEAST. Can anyone do it, and earn the respect and admiration of their peers? Or at least of me?
...”

No, I can't make a case I'd actually believe in for the HMs I liked least.

I know little of what they're like outside the house, but as HMs their presence and effects were only negative, from my point of view.

(I could defend some of the HMs mentioned in this thread, but only the ones who aren't among my least liked.)

Sure, I could fake a case by putting a positive spin on things that were actually negative, by pointing to mitigating factors that I don't think actually make enough difference, by going negative on other HMs to try to make it sound like they were worse (or were even partly to blame), by arguing that they weren't quite as bad as some people thought, and so on. But I don't think there'd be much point.

Okay Josie.
I think she has lovely eyes and she is attractive. I think she wants to lose weight but like many other people, lets the goodlife and wanting to enjoy herself, get the best of her good intentions.

I shall try with seal boy Marco BB5.He was the most annoying housemate ever,I hated him.He stoked up "fight night!"..however he was loyal to Nadia and the so called lip gloss bitches..I loathed the lot of them.So for loyalty(choke) he's my candidate.

Just reading through these posts and though it is commendable to make an effort defending someone you honestly don't like, I do feel a certain lack of sincerity comes through. This would also be apparent if, for some reason, you chose to insincerely defend someone in, say a discussion on this forum.

Some of the replies are jokey and some are serious, but I think several people have made a genuine effort to recognise that no one is completely bad.

I think most people are aware of that already. It becomes slightly farcical when positive attributes are wildly given to someone to an extent whereby even their loyalest fans would say 'hang on sec, even I know they are not really like that.'

Siavash. Oh boy this is ridiculously difficult. Every word that came out of his mouth in every episode, every live feed segment and every interview angered me. In fact, I love the likes of Dennis from BB9 and Laura from BB11 in comparison to him.

Haha but this is meant to be a thread looking to find compliments. So um, he did pretty well and keeping an unjealous face when Sophie won. That's really all I can give him, although I'm sure he was infuriated that his 'leaving the day before' scheme didn't win over enough sympathy votes so that he could win.

Here's one, in BB World he's a genious (as you know BB HM's average IQ scores tend to be considerably lower than us normal people)

But none of them have elevated it to the level of deceit that Aaron managed to.

I could easily defend Aaron, but it would be a cheat because I didn't dislike him enough.

What about Vanessa BB6
Bonneh flick my bean BB6,
However this is a positive thread where we have to say good things of a non- demonising nature.

He had lovely crab eyes and knew how to treat 'em mean and keep 'em keen. I guess he could be deemed 'sensitive'
