Has anybody else started to have problems with their Sony Bravia Internet TV?

Our Sony KDL-32EX723 has been performing well for a number of months and we were particularly impressed with the BBC iPlayer feature.... But recently it has all gone wrong, it stops playing and displays a "Content Error" message. This happens with YouTube too (not checked other channels).
The Network connection is fine, the onscreen display shows buffer has more than the point it will stop at, and our Broadband is 5Mbs.
I'm wondering if a recent Sony Firmware update has caused this, and if anybody else has the same problem.
Thanks for any help.

Yes, mine's just done that a couple of times. Not sure what's going on.

I suspect it is a problem with a recent iplayer update rather than the Sony one (mine hasn't changed for months) judging by a number of faults reported by iplayer users on other platforms too in the last couple of weeks. See also this recent top5 faq on the iplayer help page

Streaming Programmes – Why am I having problems trying to stream (click to play) programmes?

We are currently investigating user reports of the following issues:

•Programmes buffer when previously they didn't
•Pausing a programme will result in audio being out of sync with video playback.
•Video freezes while the sound continues
When further information is available, we'll update this FAQ.

Well, after much investigation and measurements the problem seems to have been due to two of our Homeplugs, that had been working perfectly up to this point, deciding that they would no longer work 'nicely' together. Either one with another, yes but with each other, no.
A rearrangement of the Network and all now seems well.
