I put in 120 hours and had to stop playing in December as had too much to do. I just picked it up again and its like i never left, in fact I'm glad I took the break as I'm being stunned all over again. I was worried I would lose the thread of what I was doing but a few months later it has been easy to pick up again. The new patch has really improved performance as well, i found anyway.

I've just picked up after a 3 weekish break as I was playing it non-stop!

I've restarted with a conjurer/illusionist Breton build, which is good fun. I'm just using my familiar for attacks at the moment, and fury to get people all attacking each other.

It's interesting playing it to a theme like this, as you tend to get perks stacking up, because you're not spreading them across different disciplines. Can't wait to start my necromancy

I'm dissappointed that the new patch didn't get rid of the quests in my log that won't complete (even though I've completed them) on the Xbox, and annoyed at Steam on the PC as last night it wouldn't launch the game. Finally got it to go by quickly clicking on Play while the steam launcher was failing. Seems they are having trouble with validating mods.

Hopefully they have cured it by tonight

started the game again with a new character, as I thought my old one was starting to get stale I thought.

Chose a Breton to go as a pure mage. Looking forward to trying out Illusion and conjuring,

IT won't help, spent a week in Morroco last month, and every time I passed a jewellery shop in the Marakech markets I just saw the necklaces on display and thought, "I wonder if that improves restoration or smithing?"

What a shame and so young. RIP.

Finished civil war quests (for Stormcloaks) last night and now only have unfinishable quests left plus finding the last 6 stones. Probably going to start a new char on xbox to just do the Daedric quests for the achievement (hope it's not bugged this time), and civil war on Imperials side.

Enjoying the user mods coming out on the pc in the meantime

I can't look at any snowy landscape on tv without wondering how I'd get up that mountain or whether there are frost trolls around

You remember how I said a couple of weeks ago how my Skyrim love was waning, and I expected to move on to other games pretty soon?

Nah........ I'm still going, doing the DB questline, enjoying it thoroughly, still looting random dungeons and the like, looked at my trophy list last night and noticed I only have 13 to go until my first ever Platinum, and there's not one that doesn't look getable, I'm going to go for it.

Me to, i have never got a platinum tropy because they usually always involve playing online for hours, or are just too time consuming and repetitive.

But skyrim has so much replay value, im over 50hrs in now and have approx 45% of the trophies. Long way to go yet but i will get the platinum eventually

I wonder if 'Sorry I thought I was playing Skyrim' would stand up in a court of law?

You might get away with it if you offer the judge £20 to clear your bounty

Spears and a perk tree for the werewolf? Surely the latter is a pretty obvious one once you've turned werewolf more than a couple of times. Also, high level Draugr! Please Bethesda, include these in your DLC.

In fact, as well as sticking new quests and areas in the DLC, why not include some new things that can be used throughout the game?
