brits awards performance please? Girls Gone Wild and Give Me Your Luvvin mix will seal the deal.

I would love a Brits performance next Tuesday...if she performed Luvin, a hit or two and girls gone wild would be an absolute dream.

But with Tour prep and the video shooting will be a close call really. Would be immense though if Madonna did perform at The Brits.

I absolutely LOVE this tune and it has got me obsessed with watching all things Madonna on Youtube.

Now I'm no huge Madonna fan, but looking back at "hung up" and "Music" she is flipping great. And this song is so addictive. I get the sense that it is not widely liked but for me it's a great single proper POP Shame it is not doing better r.e no 1s, but as others have said the charts are full of skimper tunes these days.

Buy a copy of Celebration, and it's only after you listen for about 10 mins it hits you like a brick, how long she's been around and how many fantastic songs she's done. You don't even have to invest in any studio albums just yet, but Celebration is a copy every person, fan or no should own.

But be sure to get the 2 disc version and not the pointless 1 disc edition!

Just buy all eleven studio albums, any soundtracks and compilations!

It might yet climb. It's got Nicki Mingewhatsit in it and she's presumably popular amongst the music channel-watching set, where the video is presumably getting reasonable coverage.

I just wish they'd release the physical cd single already. That would kick it back up the UK charts and it would easily go into the top 10. Enough die hard fans would buy a copy!

I'm Breathless is a curious affair!

It's a fabulous album of totally original music that includes 3songs from the film Dick Tracey yet contains 9 other original tracks. Yeet no one recognises it as an official studio album, even though:

a) It was recorded in a studio
b) contains all original material
c) features Vogue and Hanky Panky
d) Was released 15 months after Like A Prayer AFTER the Like A Prayer era had ended!

I agree. Why no CD?

I don't know how accurate the reports are that i've been reading online but it looks like they are starting to release the CD in some markets. I know Germany and I believe Poland have release dates confirmed (early March) so i'm hoping the UK follows. I've got all her singles on CD and hate that my collection is currently missing one! And alright I could go down the road of buying the import but I would rather contribute to her UK chart placing...

I've always regarded it as a studio album, and on some days depending on what mood I'm in it can be my favourite Madge album. The production is incredibly consummate and her voice has gone through some classical training for sure, that comes through plainly. I've never understood where the ambivalence comes from - what the hell else is it supposed to be? It's clearly not a compilation or even soundtrack album FFS! Thanks for your support lol.

Agree 100%

The song Back in Business remains one of my all time favourite madonna songs.

GMAYL has certainly grown with the public. i originally thought it would simply disappear just like that.

I had my sentiments for this track and i wished it performed better. http://mymonumentalicons.blogspot.co...-all-your.html

I can (now) understand why they had to sacrifice this single to save MDNA. It was a bad move for GMAYL's sake but a good one to save MDNA charting low considering MDNA's shaky hold on the charts. Lionel Ritchie has overtaken Madonna in US iTunes already as she is at no.3... hope she gets more sales down the weekend.

that wont be good if she doesn't début at #1 in the us. she really should have released it after the super-bowl or done more promotion. it has to be said though. every time i google her name, the same story is updated daily and is the top news story. its the reuters‎ story referring to the album`s mixed reviews. the metacritic score has decreased since the weekend, but it still currently stand`s at 66. that story isn't a ringing endorsement for her album and i hope that doesn't put people off.

i'm keeping my fingers crossed but she will still chart at no.1 in the UK obviously as she leads the pack. it is only in the US that she is derailed though. and yes, that reuters story is putting people off from buying the album. despite the favourable reviews it received lastweek, the momentum has begun to slow down. regarding promotion, there is this Spotify thingy that her management has cooked up and will yet see it's effects as opposed to actual promotion. and then she put out her perfume ad as well with GGW playing as background track and GGW used as theme for wrestling !(?)...
