Can I receive FreeSat in S Ireland using a dish? They do have Sauorview (may not be precisely right) but it doesn't carry all the other's tv channels or Radio 3. The corollory to this is will a UK bought digital tv work in Co Limerick with a dish?

Thanks, John

Should be no problem provided you have a dish aligned on 28.2/28.5E.

It will of course have to have a freesat tuner. The range isn't very big. A seperate Freesat box/pvr means you can use any TV.

Sky do a service for the Republic of Ireland which as far as I can see uses the same satellites as Sky UK. So if Sky can provide a service in your part of the world I can't see any reason why Freesat shouldn't work. The Freesat channels are after all the same transmissions as on Sky.
