The first celebrities for this year's tour have been announced -Sam, Chico & Heidi.

I was a bit at Heidi being announced as I think she's the weakest left now apart from Rosemary & she's been in a skate off so is not that popular but I guess as they now only invite last year's winner back of previous contestants they do have to pad out the number of contestants from the current series.

I suspect they can't confirm Matt or Jorgie yet due to Emmerdale & Hollyoaks. Hopefully they will both be able to do it, even if they do the weekend shows as Chris Fountain did when he was in Hollyoaks.

A line up of Jorgie, Chemmy, Jen & Heidi for the girls & Sam, Chico, Seb & Matt for the boys would be good. However, if Matt and/or Jorgie are not able to do all the shows they may have to have 9 couples as the shows could look a bit thin otherwise.

I'm the same with Heidi - she's not brilliant but then again Emily, Linda etc did the tour so it makes sense. And an interesting point if Matt and Jorgie aren't able to do it - they won't be able to get Andy either, will they?

And one last thing - if Seb is on the tour, will Brianne skate with him or Sam?

She would skate with Seb - other celebs have come back and skated with different pro partners so it's not an issue. Out of interest does anyone know if Sam has kept up his skating since the tour last year? I am not a fan of his so haven't followed him since.

Who will Heidi Skate with think it shoould be Andrei unless she has a lot of training again with Sylvain.?

Thanks for sharing this brilliant info. I'm really pleased that Sam Attwater is doing the tour again as he was fantastic last year, and Chico should be good to watch. I think the crowd will love him too! Heidi is a bit surprising, I can take or leave her but it will be quite nice seeing her there as I've seen her with the Sugababes as well.

I do hope it will be with Andrei, it would only be fair!

We have some more names... Andy Whyment is confirmed for the tour! And Matthew Wolfenden is also joining the line-up, BUT only on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays. Other dates will be announced dependent on his Emmerdale filming schedule.

Yes it is Sam Attwater who is doing the tour.

I can't see Sam Nixon touring as they already have 4 male celebs now (including Matthew), if another is added I'd guess that Sebastien is more likely.

It's also interesting that Heidi is the only female confirmed to tour - maybe they're struggling to get any other girls confirmed? Chemmy seems keen to tour based on her Twitter posts so I hope she will be signed up soon!

Sam (& Mark) would be too busy to do the tour anyway. All the celebs confirmed so far seem to be those not currently working.

P S I wish they would show his fiance Ann in the audience and not focus on Mark all the time now.

I am expecting Jennifer to be announced soon as Daniel tends to do the tour.

Great that Matt is touring - from the tour website it looks like the same as Chris Fountain in that he'll definitely do weekend shows but midweek will depend on his filming schedule.

If Jorgie can only do tour part time like Matthew then I think they'd need another celeb as the midweek shows might look very thin with only 6. Would love Seb to do it but based on This Morning where nothing was mentioned after Heidi was talking about the tour I am guessing he's not.

I am going mid-week - it will be really annoying if Jorgie & Matt are winner and runner up and neither are there!

I love the DOI tours and buy tickets before I know the line-up, but I will admit I'm a bit concerned this year... if Matthew & Jorgie aren't available for the full tour there's a risk of the line-up looking a bit weak, especially if one of them wins the series. Seb would have been a great addition but seems highly unlikely now, and they NEED to get Chemmy booked pronto!

I do wonder if someone like Hayley or Chloe may be invited back - the fact that Heidi is the only girl who's confirmed seems to imply they are struggling to book women this year.

im glad i booked tickets for a saturday performance because im glad that I will see Matt as that is the reason why i booked them in the first place

Yes I was wondering if Chloe might be involved again this year. Hasn't Hayley done 2 tours? It seems unlikely she'd be invited for a 3rd tour.

Maybe the lack of celebs might mean more pro performances, we can but hope!
