Two tours hardly seems excessive though - Chris Fountain did three years on the trot, don't forget. Of course there is always the small possibility that Hayley could skate with someone other than Dan....

Assuming there's one more woman to be confirmed, I really hope it's Chemmy. I think she'd be brilliant on tour and don't want any more cling ons!

There's been some interesting stuff on Twitter about the tour... an official account has stated there is one more space to be filled, so it looks definite that there will be 8 celebs again this year.

Perhaps more interestingly, Chemmy has made some comments about the tour - it seems she wants to take part but hasn't been asked! Personally I think that's disgusting and a lot of other people seem to agree! Hopefully the organisers will see sense....?

I got the impression Chemmy was really keen to start skiing again once DOI (I assumed the tv show) is over. Perhaps now she is expressing interest in the tour she will be asked...

I think that's clutching at straws a bit - I don't think Chemmy has ever said anything that would obviously rule her out of doing the tour, and besides, surely it wouldn't hurt to ask her if she'd like to take part? Last I heard she wanted to get back into skiing from around May which would allow her to be on the tour.

I think she's been saying she's interested for a while.
Sign her up somebody please!

The DOI Twitter just tweeted 'Ok, so who wants to know our final celeb? And our professional line up?'

Do people really pay money to watch a bunch of soapstars pretending to skate be pulled round a ring? Extraordinary.

I tell you what's extraordinary - someone continually posting in a forum on a show they profess to dislike so much - surely better to stick to what you are inerested in & post on that.

Really pleased that Chemmy & Sean have been confirmed for the tour. And chuffed too that Alex & Lukasz have also been confirmed.

I'm quite pleased Hayley isn't doing the tour. It annoyed me that she did Bolero all the time last year, I thought she should have taken a back seat (Ray had to the year before) and let Laura and Chloe do Bolero against Sam. Which they would have if the judges hadn't scored Hayley above them

In 2010 Ray had to skate first. Last year I expected it to be Hayley but they shoved Laura out instead

I'm looking forward to the tour this year. I would have liked to have seen Ray again, but I guess we can't have everything

I can't see Sam Nixon touring as they already have 4 male celebs now (including Matthew), if another is added I'd guess that Sebastien is more likely.

It's also interesting that Heidi is the only female confirmed to tour - maybe they're struggling to get any other girls confirmed? Chemmy seems keen to tour based on her Twitter posts so I hope she will be signed up soon!”

Disappointed that it's Sam A not Sam N on the tour. I have tickets, not bought my me but I got them as a gift. Unfortunately they're midweek so looks like I'll be stuck with the dross. If it doesn't get any better I'll probably sell them.

Well said, Tiger Rose.
I have been to every tour, my main reason for going is to see Jayne & Chris perform which is such an honour as I didn't get to see them live first time round!

But surely it's all dross? You would honestly pay money to see people who can't skate? Or pseudo celebs like Chloe Madeley and Sam Atwater - neither of whom seem to be gainfully employed. This must make squillions for Chris and Jayne and the promoter.

It was a genuine question actually! I am intrigued what people will actually pay money to go and see.

boo - hoo, poor old Hayley! Whoever she is. I am puzzled - posters are indicating that you go to the show and then find out that half the people you were expecting to see are only there at weekends? Is this really true - how can you let them get away with that?

Yet again you are posting in a board of something you claim to have major contempt and disdain for. You claim to have previously been a fan of the show yet you claim not to know who Hayley is seems a bit strange given she was a previous winner of the show? Your lack of knowledge of a lot of things about DOI seems to suggest that you only venture into these threads with the intent of stirring trouble.

Also to enlighten you slightly further Sam Attwater had been starring in the West End Production of Dreamboats and Petticoats following on from DOI last year and did panto although I guess you will look on that with contempt too. Not sure what he is up to at the moment although I would guess he will be starting training for the tour.

At the moment the only person listed as only doing the weekend shows is Matthew although that may change with others like Jorgie and Andy depending on filming schedules so hardly think the weekday lineup is that bad.

If you genuinely want to know the answer (although I doubt it) I will give you my reasons for going to the show.

As I said above, the main reason is to see Jayne & Chris.

The other reasons (in no particular order) are:

I enjoy seeing the professional routines
I enjoy watching the celebrities skate especially the good ones, and the ones who may not be as good but are entertaining
I enjoy the atmosphere of a live show
I enjoy having a day/evening out
I enjoy treating my mum - she likes the costumes!
If you book the tickets as early as I do (on the day they are released) you are not booking to see a particular celebrity or professional as they won't have been announced so there is no reason to get irate if your favourite isn't there.

If you want to book to see a particular celebrity or pro then you need to wait until the names are released.

But then you won't get rinkside which is where I like to sit as you get a chance to shake hands with the performers at teh end!

thank you. That was really informative. My mum likes skating too and I had wondered about taking her. But some posters are hinting that if you get weekday tickets you don't see the main attractions - is that true?

You're right, I was tweaking your tail a bit! I know it's Hayley Tamadan the one who did the Indian dance rather well. Although I still have absolutely no idea who she is or was! Sam Atwater was only known to me for being famous for being associated with Chloe Madeley who is famous through her parents and therefore, in my humble opinion, a total waste of space. I have stirred things up a bit because it really does upset me to see so many intelligent fans being taken for such a ride with such a padded out show staffed with z-listers. A good idea once and who can forget Todd Carty and Ray Quinn, but way past its sell-by date now and undeserving of such a major role in the schedules.

I will go away now. Enjoy.

Currently Matt Wolfenden is the only one who is unable to do weekday dates and this has been stated on the official website. Some fans of the show book tickets before the celebs for the series are announced so always take the risk as to who will be performing.
For those who choose to wait until the tour celebs are announced can then make the choice to book or not depending on if their favourites are there or not.

Personally I usually book a few tickets early and some nearer the time once I know what my plans are and what venues I wish to go to.

those people who watch DOI on their TV's or buy tickets to go and see the live shows do it out of choice ... they're intelligent enough to know where the off button is on their TV's and not to buy the tour tickets if they don't get enjoyment out of it ... just because you don't enjoy the show and think people are being taken for a ride it doesn't mean that everyone else has to feel the same way ... nor do they need your sympathy ... I'm sure you watch some programmes or go to some events that some of the posters here wouldn't waste their time or money on ... it's called personal taste
