Imagine your in prison and about to be put to death, you are allowed 3 meals of anything on your last day, breakfast, dinner and tea...what would you have?

Breakfast
I would have 3 bacon, 3 fried eggs, 3 sausage(1 Linc, 1 cumb n 1 plain) scrambled egg, French toast, fried mushrooms, fried spam, tomatoes and hash browns with plenty of ketchup.

Dinner
I would have a extra rare porterhouse steak with fries, onion rings, mushrooms, tomatoes, peas, salad and a Stilton sauce.

Tea
I would have a trio of roast meats, rare rib of beef, pork and lamb with pigs, roast pots in goose fat, dauphinoise, roast veg, stuffing and beef dripping gravy and yorkies

What delights would you all ask for on your last day?

Never really thought of 3 meals before, only ever 1 which is...

Surf and Turf, involving a rather large rib eye and langoustines. Served with a proper pepper sauce made with cognac, good fries, mushrooms, onions and asparagus cooked in chilli and garlic.

I reckon I could make do without lunch if I had that and this for brekkie....

4 thin Denny sausages, 3 rashers maple cured bacon, 3 potato bread farls, a soda farl, 2 poached eggs, mushrooms, grilled tomato, black pud, white pud, a healthy grind of black pepper and a splodge of ketchup.

For brekky: Welsh rarebit, fried tomatoes, poached egg, grilled bacon

Lunch: Duck confit or Roast Duck , an excessive amount of crunchy roast potatoes (done in goose/duck fat), al dente brussel sprouts, devils on horseback (prunes wrapped in bacon - the prunes having mango chutney in them) and copious amounts of good gravy!

Dessert: Very good quality fruit trifle (with brandy fruit cake-crumbled base, topped with mangoes, peaches, banana, proper vanilla custard, creme chantilly topping with amaretto biscuits and toasted flaked almonds).

And if this isn't up to scratch, good enough, then to have it perfected the next day maybe!!!?

On new years eve for one of the courses of my meal I had "Petit Marmite au Truffe en Croute" which was beef consommé and truffle baked in a espresso cup covered in a puff pastry lid, the intensity of the truffle scent when I opened the pastry and the flavour of the beef consommé was mind blowing, definitely the single best dish I have had, anywhere, ever!

I would have a great big bowl of it as my last meal
