Hi All

Which one would you all recommend?

or

320 gb would be enough space. Is one box more realible than the other?

It is exactly the same box, the Amazon link you give is for the 500GB version which just has a larger capacity HDD in it, that is all. I bought a 320GB from Humax direct last August and, on day one, installed a 1TB HDD. The Humax immediately formatted it and overall the Foxsast has been a very stable unit for me. I have had two lock-ups in six months (both from the EPG), compare that to my old Sky+HD unit that needed a weekly re-boot to keep it only moderately reliable and you will see why I have not looked back since dumping Sky (that and saving around 20 watts when the unit is in stand-by).

By the way, are you sure 320GB is enough? Those HD files take up a fair bit of space!

Thanks for both your replies. Very helpful.

Not too worried about it been the end of life cycle. After all, tech moves on so fast these days is there ever a period when it's not the end of a life cycle.

Thanks again for the replies
