The Rum Diary 9/10

Usually watch Depp movies under sufferance with the drooling missus but I found this genuinely entertaining. Must read the Thompson book again

Senna. I know it not really a film as such more a documentary but watched it when it came on sky and was like wow and watching it again on blu-ray and I still wow!

the troll hunter-

terrible acting, wonderful idea and special effects. its not often I feel the need to praise a film for its fx, but this one really does shine here imo ,the chase scenes had me gripped.

Don't say a Word - Surprisingly good film, really enjoyed it - Sad to see Brittany Murphy at her best, knowing she'd be dead a few years on from the film.

Brokeback Mountain - First time I've watched it and I totally get what all the hype was about. I hadn't cried at a film since I was around 11 years old and watched Green Mile but I did a fair bit last night. I'm now 19 by the way.

Overall, I love the film and would give it a 9/10. I just wanted a happy ending.

Grave Encounters - 7/10.

Much better than I expected. Ruined by the predictable ending though.

Red Lights. 6.5/10. The ending ruined it and most of the characters were under-used.

I see this phrase all the time on this site and it boggles the mind. Imagine someone leaving "The Usual Suspects" halfway. They'd miss the most important plot point of the film. To judge a film properly, you really need to see all of it, even if eventually you decide that the movie is bad. Honestly I have seen people on this site say stuff like "I stopped watching (film in question) after 10/15/20 minutes", which is quite frankly, ridiculous

Just watched Hellbound, Hellraiser ll

This one was weirder than the first

Clive Barker does weird stuff, must google him and find more stuff ( already seen Book of blood and that was weird too)
