The Rum Diary 9/10
Usually watch Depp movies under sufferance with the drooling missus but I found this genuinely entertaining. Must read the Thompson book again |

Senna. I know it not really a film as such more a documentary but watched it when it came on sky and was like wow and watching it again on blu-ray and I still wow!

the troll hunter-
terrible acting, wonderful idea and special effects. its not often I feel the need to praise a film for its fx, but this one really does shine here imo ,the chase scenes had me gripped.

Don't say a Word - Surprisingly good film, really enjoyed it - Sad to see Brittany Murphy at her best, knowing she'd be dead a few years on from the film.

Movies i watched in the past month or so..
1) In Time- suprisingly really good 8.5/10 2) Sherlock Holmes(2009)- Great & very witty but need to be in the mood or can put you to sleep 7/10 3) The Island- Really enjoyed it, loved Scarlett and Ewan Mcgregor 8/10 4) Gone- Okay, not much to it 5/10 5) Hunger games- Big fan of book and loved the film aswell (Although concept needs to be explained better for non book readers) 8.5/10 6) X-men First class- great movie 9/10 7) Kick Ass- Read on internet how great it is but didnt like it or get in to it at all! Gave up half way, only the girl Chloe Mortez or whoever made it okay 4.5/10 |

Brokeback Mountain - First time I've watched it and I totally get what all the hype was about.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I hadn't cried at a film since I was around 11 years old and watched Green Mile but I did a fair bit last night. I'm now 19 by the way.Overall, I love the film and would give it a 9/10. I just wanted a happy ending. |

Grave Encounters - 7/10.
Much better than I expected. Ruined by the predictable ending though. |

Red Lights. 6.5/10. The ending ruined it and most of the characters were under-used.
