Cast Iron Wok

We've got a big heavy cast iron wok that we've been using for a number of years

Just lately I've noticed the odd tiny piece that seem to be flaking off the inside, they're black so I don't think it's rust

I was just wondering if this is a common problem and should I be calling it a day with this wok and getting a new one

Hmmm I wonder if it needs re-seasoning (if that's possible?)
