Perhaps consider a crocodile or an elephant then?

Men DO like cats, but get fed up of trying to approach the women who own the cats ........

My partner used to have dogs, he expects my cat to behave like a dog and rush to greet him when he comes in - she doesn't. She expects us to go to her, which of course I do.

No, not all Men hate cats, but I've met Male friends who declared they hate cats for no reason ... what a stupid thing to say? the only thing I can think is they are doubtful about their own Masculinity and have to say things like that to seem more Masculine to themselves ... its a load of tosh.

I'm Male in every way and loving Females (Human Females I might add ) is my only choice, but I've never had doubts about my Masculinity and always kept cats.

Lets bury this myth, please.

no......

its probably because they are (on the whole) selfish, antisocial creatures....... that get on so many peoples nerves by crapping in every garden within a 10 mile radius... and also scaring away other wildlife (eg, if you're a birdwatcher)

So, you like bird watching ... cute ... Aww blessums

As for cats dumping in a garden, consider it fertilizer, do you honestly think other animal or pets should work around you and your strange odd hobby of looking at birds .. who do you think you are if you think nature (including cats) should freeze for your bird watching thrills?

If you are in a neighbour hood of other pets apart from your precious wildlife bird watching, think of them too, they were there before you.

Once you start becoming obsessive about a hobby to the exclusion of any others thoughts, where you start pissing on other pet lovers ... you are on the slippery slope.

i have no interest at all in birds.... it was just an example of a reason why someone might dislike cats.

Dogs don't come into my garden and leave steaming piles of turd on my lawn. Neither do peoples hamsters, canaries, snakes, rats, monkeys. Its just cats.

Have you talked to a psychiatrist about this?

Cats bury their small faeces, maybe it was a Lion in your hallucinations, they leave really big steaming piles of turd apparently ... what sort of crack are you on mate, sounds like you are getting some good trips going there.

Its unlikely to be a cat. They like to do their business in private, they also bury it.
even urban environments have a plethora of wild animals that could be the culprit, more likely to be in fcat.

believe me... Its cats. Ive seen them do it. It has quite a unique and punjent stench. Their attempts at burying it do not amount to very much.

I do not need to see a psychiatrist, just because I dont like your beloved felines.

I don't have any at present due to my living circumstances but yep, I've had them in the past and I'd have one again in an instant if I could. 99% of people who have a strong reaction against cats have never owned one in my experiance. It's ignorance, I guess. I've known people who can't bear dogs but they don't own one of those either.

If the cat is obviously friendly I'll do the same. A couple of years ago an obviously very friendly cat came up to me outside the building talking very loudly and incessently (meowing to non-cat people) and was obviously desperate for some attention of some kind... I must have spent a good 10 minutes petting and stroking and rubbing his belly and touching noses, much to the astonishment of the couple of kids who were watching from behind the communal door obviously hiding from the strange animal... the good news is a woman walked up the road to me and said it was her missing cat that had escaped and had been missing for a couple of days she must have heard all the commotion... the cat obviously knew her and she carried it away back to her house... I felt pretty good that day.

I suppose you're right but do you get what I mean how some people just don't like pets due to family members and stuff? I mean if my family loved cats no doubt I would too because I was brought up with them.

Men who like cats are very sexy. True fact.

We've always had cats and dogs. I've never had the same depth of relationship with any of the cats as I've had with the dogs.

Cats to me are selfish creatures that wouldn't give a shit if you died tomorrow. I believe dogs would and in fact do genuinely grieve the loss of humans. The bond in my opinion is much stronger between dog/human compared to cat/human.

Just my opinion of course - based on years of owning both.

Cats are useful for keeping rodents down - and other cats out of your property.

Only because they can't jump fences. I was stupid enough to leave my garden gate open the other day (our gardens are out the back beyond an alley) and I looked out the window and saw my neighbours dog taking a dump on my lawn.

And my cats don't crap on anyone's lawn cos they are indoor cats.

Come rain or shine, without fail,1 of my moggies greets me on the drive every evening when I arrive from the office.

(I'm sure the dog would do the same but she can't get thru the cat-flap).

Lots of "affection" - standing on hind legs, loud squeaks (she has a very high pitch ), calf rubbing (mine) etc.

But although she's clearly pleased to see me, I'm not so daft that I don't know the real reason for this.

She hungry! Simples
