OH isn't a fan of roast dinners so I rarely bother..... My Mum on the other hand still does a roast most Sunday's... Even though it's just her, My Dad and my youngest brother at home.

If we have kids I think I'd probably start the tradition? Family roasts were always such good fun at my Mum's

Ditto. I have one at Christmas due to tradition but I find them pretty dull. Given the choice I'd eat almost anything else.

We do, almost every Sunday. Today we've had lamb shanks, but still with roast potatoes, carrots, sprouts and cauliflower.

We have a roast every few weeks. We went through a phase of one a week but we put so much weight on!

My brother-in-law cooks them and gets through half a block of lard each time and there is only 3 of us. No idea how he manages to use up so much - tastes delicious though

No. Once or twice a month at most. I find it gets boring having the same thing on a Sunday week after week

Tomorrow I'm doing roast pork, apple and cider sauce, roast potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, parsnips and gravy. Can't wait!

I make roast every Sunday. It's the only time during the week when I can serve up a dinner that the whole family likes. Fickle bunch they are, always bloody chicken though.

No, never, as there isn't one single roast meat that everyone in the family likes.

Sunday is just anther day meal-wise. The only day of the year we have something special is Xmas day.

Someone's cooking it wrong then.

If that was going to be my Sunday dinner, I'd be looking forward to that as well

Can I come round, if the goose we're having at my parents is a let down

I tend to cook roast dinners in winter.
I don't bother in summer as I find them to heavy & stodgy.

I rarely do roasts, but will be having one today. Just roast chicken, roast potatoes, veg, yorkshire puds, gravy, perhaps bread sauce.

Yes, I always do a roast on a Sunday, unless it's summer and we're having a barbie.

Today I'm doing a lovely fat stuffed roast chicken, roast potatoes, carrots, broccoli and yorkshires and gravy.

Sunday wouldn't be Sunday without a roast dinner, not in our house anyway.
