I was in a shop today and they were playing a song only I couldn't hear the lyrics, I've had the tune in my head all day and it's been bugging me.

I know its a man singing and its a very old song. Your help would be appreciated. Especially as I haven't given much to go on.

No. Much older, the singer is more of a crooner.

it depends on how far back and what you mean by crooner. someone like sinatra? the only other songs that spring immediately to mind are `walk on the wild side` and `dance little sister`.
