Another huge talent has left us and I decided to honor what a truly gifted woman she was. A woman I have had the pleasure in listening to since a young child.

Please, let's remember Whitney Houston. Not for what she in her personal life, but for the woman who gave us us some of the best power ballads the music industry has ever had to be responislble for.

It's very sad, but she will be remembered as a legend and one of the most iconic vocalists of all time...May her soul rest in peace.

And also my condolences to the family and especially to her daughter. I think she's 18 or 19 years old.

I am in such shock but at least people all over the world can celebrate what a fantasic musical legacy she had. I hope Whitney dominates Radio, Singles and Albums for however long as possible. It's a shame re-surge in her music had to be due to her death.

I really can't wait to hear her last studio recordings that she did for her film Sparkle. We can be reminded of the enormous Talent she was in life and the enormous talent that will be with her through wherever she is now.

Incredibly sad.

Fortunate to have grown up when she was at her peak-such great memories-some really joyful heartfelt music-great memories to cherish.

Are they the only music channel showing any of her songs? I didn't see any on VH1 or any of the MTVs.

I really hope some of her Concert recordings finally see a DVD release. Shame it may have to due to her death that they could be released.

So sad

She was a true talent, & one of the all time greats of music. Her voice at her best was simply stunning.

Such a sad day. RIP Whitney, you will be missed.

One Moment in Time, and I Have Nothing are two of my fave songs ever xx

MTV Music, MTV Base, MTV Classic, VH1 and Viva are all showing her videos today.

I was very surprised to read the news late last night, RIP Whitney.
