I feel so sick to my stomach, I woke hoping she would have won something I want to cry for her. I just want to run over to her and give her a hug.

So many people have said that while it didn't match TF/TFM in sales BTW surpassed them in quality. I thought the Grammys rewarded art not commercial success. Do they have no credibility?

I suppose next year's winners will be easy to guess just pick the person who sold the most. Because the public are always so great at picking out great music *ahem* James Blunt *cough* Dido. Why not just make it a public vote? Its pathetic.

Well she looked fabulous and stole the show, so everyone is talking about how great she looked with her fishnet and fabbo Versace Ring instead of the actual awards.

I guess she doesn't need those awards it and when I get over this I'll know that having the little monsters is more important to her than some trinket.

But really...nothing? Are they deaf?

Are you joking?
Gaga has already won 4/5 grammys and I don't think she is bothered

Boo Hoo, your favourite artist didn't win. Get over it.

Wow, really? I think you need a little perspective. The Grammys are rarely dominated by the same artists year on year. This year was Adele's year.

As for the Grammys awarding art in music and not commercial success, I would say the exact opposite is true.

Lady GaGa's had her time. Her music is just.. OTT.

You watch Adele get up there, Not gimmicks or dancers, Just her voice an a meaningful lyric. Don't get me wrong, Her vocals are outstanding all of the time, But Adele doesn't have to have all of the fashion and props, it's just her.

Besides, Her musics become very controversial lately, The grammy's probably didn't want that cast over them.

I just thought it was hilarious when she was one of the tiny tiny minority remaining in their seats after Adele finished her performance then realised the camera was sweeping (sorry about that word, lol) down the front of the celebrities and decided to stand up sharpish so the camera got her in the frame (and didn't want to look like a sore loser). Classic Grammys moment, lol. Approx 14 seconds in.

No. Adele was extremely deserving this year; her album is extremely good and her success has been unpredictably high. She deserves the award just as much as Gaga.

The Grammys haven't turned on GaGa, it's just that Adele deserved those awards more. Her lyrics resonate with people and the music is gimmick free and simple. Her Brit awards performance last year with her just standing there with a piano was better than GaGa's performance with its huge group of backing dancers, vessel etc.

21's lyrics strike a chord with people whereas 'skeleton guns and wedding bells in the attic' don't. Well done Adele

Gaga has won 163 awards in her short career, five of them being Grammys. Somehow I don't she'll be as bothered as your acting to be. She's probably fast running out of room to put them anyway.

It was Adele's year at the Grammys and congrats to her for that.

I know that a lot of you are perhaps not Lady Gaga fans and feel that genuine Lady Gaga fans are all obsessed little fan girls who have nothing better to do than be bitter at Adele's success.

We are not like this.

This OP may take her Gaga obsession to strange, obsessive and often rudely insensitive levels (remember her "Tonight, when people thank Whitney in their Grammy speeches, remember GaGa did first!" thread?) but the vast, vast majority of Gaga fans do not behave in this manor.

Personally, though I am slightly disappointed that Gaga didn't win anything at this year's Grammys, I can understand why Adele did so well. And to be honest, I'm delighted for her, she seems like such a genuinely sweet and genuine person who has defied the odds and became pop's current Leading Lady (pardon the pun )

I just feel that all this needed to be said because Gaga fans have a terrible reputation on DS due to the fact that a few "fans" that take it too far.

This is the worst one I've seen. Yes it would have been nice if Gaga had won one but so what if Adele sweeped she deserved all of them

Simply put 21 was miles ahead of most of the records there and Adele doesn't need a meat dress to appear interesting just great songs and a brilliant voice get over yourself.

GaGa does have some OTT fanatical fans that tar the reputation of 99% of the well behaved majority. How some of them were offering money to trash Madonna online, called Adele fat and launched into a hate campaign against Katy Perry is an example of their disgusting behaviour. I bet GaGa is ashamed at this small group of fans she has. They completely ignore the message that she puts across so well in that discrimination and bullying is simply wrong

OP You are doing no favours in yourself in not coming across as a WUM. Lada Gaga had her year, her time and her spotlight. This year was Adele, next year it will be another artist.

To be honest I'd rather Adele won over Gaga anyway. Not only because she has raw talent without reducing herself to big staging, silly costumes or sex appeal, she gets by on her talent alone. The big thing being she's British. It's an amazing achievement.

Yes it was great to see a Brit and her fellow British songwriters up on that stage and seeing her set the whole world alight. She's done a lot for British music

I like Gaga but I was a bit disappointed with the BTW album.
The Grammy's haven't turned on her at all, just accept that this was Adele's year!

Wow, you really are very very strange.

Adele deserved every single one of those awards last night. Boo hoo, it didn't go the way you wanted. Gaga doesn't have this divine right to win every award going. Your fandom of the woman is borderline scary, and quite frankly pathetic with the way you place her on some pedestal and trash every other artist going to build up Gaga. Move on and get over it. And perhaps do some growing up while you're at it. Troll.
