Could be his best so far

Thanks for that

Loving the video and song, although I think Will should have had "Silent Valentine" off of his album as his next single

Great track and wicked video.

Definitely up there with his best. Your Game for me though was the absolute best - that was amazing!

Although, the choreography in this one is superb and he wears a vest and a suit so hey, that's got to push the rate button very high

Brilliant song, aided by a stupendous video.

I love the randomess of his videos but usually by the end, they make sense to the lyrics or have a deeper meaning

Wouldn't have been my choice for a third single. But as long as it helps sell the album

17 March I think. Would love to think it would do well but as long as it boosts the album then job done. He's well on his way to 500k sales now I think.

Agree, they are consistently good with some being exceptional. I think Losing Myself is exceptional. Great track too.

I really admire the fact that he's not afraid to go for concept driven music videos. And his album is really good so this should hopefully boost its sales (though I don't think it'll do that well on the singles chart).

I do too and the great thing is, they're always recognisable as videos unique to him.
You can tell that he's part of every step of the process from the creation to the final edit, much like his music actually.

He often says that his management reign him in at times if his ideas go a bit wild, but I expect the truth is, they probably leave him to it, he's a pretty good judge of what he wants and who he wants to work with.

I love Willy. He is the best male vocalist in Britain right now. He doesn't get the recognition he deserves. He should have been nominated for a lot of Brits. Losing myself is an amazing video and song. Favourite video by Will is All time love, Your Game, Who am i?, Light my fire and the new one. He is better than Jame Morrison, ed sheeran and other male artists out right now.

To date, he's been nominated for 12 BRITs and has won 2.
Amazing

What a breath of fresh air Will is, producing a video with thought behind it. His videos like the man are totally unique.

Yeah, but nothing recently from them and to ignore him this year after the critical acclaim and success of Echoes is just plain rude!

I still haven't got over the year he lost out on Best Male to a group! I mean how obvious can you be that you don't want to give him any credit! Both his Brits have been voted for by the public, no recognition from the industry itself. After 10 years in the business and a consistent quality output it's disgraceful. Bitter? You betcha!

Of all years Will should have had the Brit nomination after the amazing Echoes. Reviews were excellent, as were his tour reviews. He's now made a stunning original video which is head and shoulders above most of the dross out there. It's transparently obvious now that, whatever he does or whatever brillliance he reaches, will be shunned by The Brits committee as well as a a lot of the popular radio stations.
I don't know what's gone on but something must have. Still fans must console themselves with the fact that the most celebrated and fawned over often have the shortest lived careers. (Duffy? )

Well there is that I suppose, he's outlived most of his peer group from 2002 so sod 'em, I'll just bung Echoes on and leave the Brits to it this year - I suspect I won't miss a lot, except a healthy dose of hype!

I really don't understand why Will hasn't been nominated this year of all years, and as the Brits Committee haven't had the courtesy to even send me an acknowledgment of my e-mail to them asking why he hasn't been nominated, I suppose I'm never likely to find out!!

Now I'll just get back to listening to Echoes, and Losing Myself in particular, sung by who I consider to be the best British male artist.

Regarding the nomination he has had 5 nominations for Best Male, so they cant hate him THAT much, he just lost out each time to the more hyped cooler person. Remember when Will got these nominations near the start it really wasn't cool to honour reality tv acts at all.

The way the voting takes place is everyone votes by themselves, the Committee do not collectively decide who to nominate or who wins. There's just one ballot that asks them to tick who should be nominated. The five most ticked are the nominees. The results of the same ballot are kept secret and then they announce the most ticked person at the award ceremony.

I dont think any of them said lets not nominate Will Young this year, he was most probably 6th. If Olly had been nominated instead that would have been a real wrong. But i'm sure James Morrison beat Will out by a few ticks at most thats it. Will had to be near for that, it's just there's alot the Brits are liking this year with Noel there, Professor Green SO cool for them but James is not fitting - Will had better reviews, better sales and a better year. But the problem is Will's had an amazing year but hype wise he wasn't the 'in' must -see thing this year, he just as usual had another very successful year. I think the only way he could get a win and a performance at this rate is if he had a Adele sized year..

Do remember that Will will always have 5 nominations for Best Male, and 2 wins thanks to the great british public - Best Breakthrough and Best Single (Your Game). He's won awards for being the greatest artist of all time thanks to the public TWICE. He has his NMA's for Best Newcomer, Best Male & Best Album. And to have all five studio albums to enter in at the top 2 is really something..

There are so many fabulous songs on "Echoes" and there's not one filler, but I was rather dubious about having this as the next single, but love it more and more, and the video matches the song so well

I never watch The Brits anyway, so I am not missing anything. I would have done if Will had been nominated and performed. And so might a lot more people.

Loved the video and the song. Echoes is the first Will Young album I've bought and I think it's excellent. Like others have said his videos are always outstanding and I feel his music is getting better and better.
