Am I the only one that thinks Brody's being set up?There was no need to send him for The Tailor .
Brody's wife is so boring and now she's let it out about Carrie and him ! |

Great episode. I loved the long, quiet moments such as Carrie's suicide attempt and Brody searching for the Gettysburg bomb-maker with no music whatsoever. Or even Jessica's speech. I feel like unnecessary music can sometimes ruin scenes, but cable TV shows really get that less is more. How anybody could call this dull I don't know.

yeah sadly I think the only way forward is to try and turn brody as a double.
In reality he'd just be arrested on the spot, but this is la-la tv land. to be honest it'll ruin the whole premise of the series for me, as you'll lose faith in brody, if he completely lacks any principles and just yo-yos between the two sides. |

So far we have Carrie, Saul and memory card...If anything happens to the memory card and Saul...Carrie's word would not be enough at the moment.
Carrie should copy the file onto her computer and then another memory card and keep it safe, but you can bet they'll just have the one copy. |

Given the synopsis of next week's episode, I think we can say that
Spoiler
unless they throw a curveball |

why don't they just skype it in to headquarters, or just send an encrypted file by email, then it would be saved forever.
no that would be far too simple

On the face of it, sending Brody to get the tailor was insane plotting. It's testimony to how good it is generally and how much slack I cut it that it was still a terrific epsiode despite it.... but I hope they don't make many more moves that daft.
The dress... the pills... the video... outstanding. And very glad Saul isn't the mole. So from here, the double agent theory is one way to go, the other is that Brody just legs it. Not sure which would be dramatically best. In a way, this episode sorta feels like it might be setting up Brody to bolt, especially his wife's speech (another great scene and performance). Gee, episode 3 of 12.... |

I reckon that Carrie would need to have her stomach pumped out at the hospital - sticking her fingers down her throat is not enough.

I'm a bit confused as why the taylor wanted to hit Brody on the head with a brick??
Is it because he didn't trust him? |

The episode had me hooked all the way through and had some impressive moments, although as has been said, sending him to pick up the tailor was ludicrous. Only time my suspension of disbelief has failed in what is, let's face it, a completely ludicrous premise anyway.
The attention to detail in the production impressed me this week. Either that or Damian is really tapping into his skills as a method actor ... Did anyone else notice his - err - 'palpable excitement' after the scene with his wife on the kitchen counter? ![]() ![]() ![]() I thought maybe I was imagining things but then my husband noticed as well. |

I am finding it frustrating in that such a really good series has me hooked wanting more with great cliff hangars can be so ridiculous with some of the scenes having said all that Carrie has been a revelation and hope she gets some reward for her acting |

But, yes, they keep the blood pumping and the cliffhangers coming but it is at the expense of believability. I'm hooked, but then I feel like a moron for falling for it all. I mean, why didn't he just walk away from the guy moaning so that his wife couldn't hear?! Cover mouthpiece/microphone to muffle sound or break man's neck to muffle sound??? Ooh, what a choice. Let's go for breaking the neck. |
