C4 brought the rights to a prospective third season at the same time as they brought the rights to the second (and prospective third) seasons of New Girl. They didn't make a massive deal about it because it was unconfirmed at that point. This isn't really news, I've know for a while now...

I thought it was just me! Estes was very badly lit in his scenes and the scene with Carrie in particular was awful because you couldn't see his face at all, hope this doesn't happen too often. It really put me off.

As for last night's ep it was a slow burner but there's nothng wrong with that at all whatsoever, it doesn't have to be all gung-ho every single episode. On the face of things it was a very sad lonely night for Brody, for Jess and especially for Carrie. The scenes with Carrie were undeniably the highlight of the episode especially the last scene of the episode.

Wish Saul hadn't been left to the very end to make his appearance and reveal all to Carrie but i understand why they did it. I thought Jess' speech was great but think maybe she said more than Brody would have wanted everyone to know about their relationship.

Is it just me who can't stand Morena Baccarin/Jessica Brody?! I find the character highly irritating and the actress is the weak link in the show in terms of ability, in my opinion.

No, you're not alone! I also think her character if the weakest one.
I don't know if it's because she's a poor actress or just isn't given enough to do.

PS: Anyone else have trouble with their recording cutting off 5 minutes early this week? It also cut off last week, but not by so much.

No problems here losing the end. But some FMs have reported missing the end of last weeks episode.


I got constant sound drop outs on the recording on Ch4 HD. Have set the Tuesday repeat to record to see if it was my box that was playing up.

I am still struggling with the Claire Danes character though, I find her total drive and conviction irritating, just cannot warm to her

A 3rd series! Oh for goodness sake, talk of over-egging the pudding.

I just don't think there is enough (at the moment anyway) to maintain the momentum for yet another series.
I am losing patience with everybody - the bug-eyed Clarrie, the soppy Jess, the teenager- with- issues Dana, the bad guy who can text from a subterranean command centre Brody, the saintly Saul.

The last series was superb, but now, it is for me anyway, getting a bit stale and meh. Now and then there is real drama, but they are getting rarer.

She was also pretty hot as Adria in Stargate SG-1

So the Lebanese secret agent stops Saul at the airport and finds the decoy memory card and not the real one.......come on writers thats the first rule of any search procedure......

shoddy writing....even the shoddiest secret service in the world knows that a search is only completed after everything has been searched.

What would they have done if there hadn't have been a decoy memory card or that nobody had discovered it in the first place and simply thrown the bag away?

Both the Radio Times magazine and the Freesat EPG had it down as 9pm to 10pm ie 5 minutes short which confirms Channel 4 as a broadcaster which has still to get its act together.

What makes you think that it is going to be the same story line?

What, there will be another terrorist running around? Or Brody comes over all good?

Who knows, we're only 3 episodes in! Why don't you just watch the show, enjoy it and wait and find out what direction they take it in instead of wondering what season 3 is going to be like? I'm sure you'll find out at the end.

Seems strange everyone is criticising the show for not being realistic, when it was never that realistic in the first place! I am enjoying Season 2 as high quality escapist drama.

Umm I'm not sure if this question has been asked already, but did anyone notice that Brody had a hardon after getting jiggy with his wife when Dana walked in? Was he meant to have a rod or what?
