[Dare Devil]

I watched Friday's E4 yesterday, but didn't think there was anything to comment on. For the first time ever I watched it with other people and I was just there saying "wow, isn't this the most exciting episode I've ever seen" and was willing it to end.

The Will stuff was very poorly acted out and written, as others have said - very cringey!
Riley/Mitzeee didn't enjoy, it didn't have the spark that the two characters usually have - not in a couply way that most want, but in a each character individually is usually good, but there was something missing.

I don't think anything else happened?? Nothing actually happened in the episode full stop, just a boring, very long drawn out episode.

Agreed, I really enjoyed it. The headbanger wasn't really a headbanger though.

Not sure if she's going to win though. It's between Jorgie and Matt for me, more towards Matt atm though.

They end up getting their own shop 'Carter Hay'. There's been pictures of Kieron and PJ wearing the uniforms and in Kieron's St Paddy's video you can see the shop in the background.

Oh good. Takes away from the teens at least. I hope they do well and we see more of this up and coming comedy duo.

Are you refering to the ep where Rob was tied to a chair by Will and Barney? If so, I think you're referring to Friday's C4 ep rather than the E4 ep, that these kinds of comments were being made about that episode, whilst Friday's E4 (tomorrow's C4) had more positive comments about it

Matt for me...in terms of the skills test you can see he's technically a very very good skater and he deserved those scores for that but as for performance I feel he's very one note. I haven't seen much range, I don't watch Emmerdale so I don't know if he's a good actor or not. I have my fingers crossed for Jorgie, I really want her to get through to next week but i'm not going to be devestated if she doesn't win. I hate to say this because I really like Jen but if one girl is going to go through Jorgie deserves it far more but I think Jen might get the sympathy vote tonight and in a skate off they will put Chico through before Jorgie I reckon.

Why is there so much hate for Jorgie/Theresa? I like her, I find her quite funny and she is a capable actress. I agree that the murder of Calvin should of changed her attitude but I do love her! I like sinead too, when she's nice. I just don't like Maddie and have complained to Emma Smithwick about her on twitter

Is there? Can't say I've noticed here on DS. Jorgie seems very nice in RL and I like Theresa, too. OK, the lip biting and hair twizzling can be a bit irritating, but she's cute and ditzy and somehow manages to carry it off - even though we know she is a heartless, cold blooded killer!

Sinead's a funny one. She was fine before all this Sinbart stuff but she blotted her copy book rather the way she treated Jason, but Steph Davis is capable and I think if the character was written better and more sympathetically she could turn things around.

I can't even be bothered to talk about Maddie...

Not a lot of hate on these forums but I have seen some negative comments about her on here and also other websites. I agree, if they could give Sinead back her normal personality, she may be able to win back a lot of people!

The Friday C4 ep was interferring Maddie and the George reunion with his family. E4 was the boring one with Rob tied to the chair and very awkward writing and acting from Rob, Will and Liberty.

I noticed some positive comments on it, but I didn't like it and it was a drag. Nothing actually happened in it and I was bored watching it.

Don't like Theresa, but like Jorgie on DOI. It's just the character she plays in Hollyoaks I don't like.

I'm going to post this here because the DOI boards go quite fast and it is about HOs... sort of.

I can't believe that Jorgie again has low marks, they are still high, but not as high as they should have been in both of her skates! In the skills test she was so fast, she finished well before the others did, she stood there waiting for the music to finish, but the others finished when the music did. Her spin was amazing, but yet she got 9s and shockingly (not!) Matt happens to get just enough to get top, when his skills routine wasn't as good as Jorgie.

Before I wasn't one of those people who thought about all the backstage scheming and voting, but the way they have been treating Jorgie, I am starting to believe it. She was by far the best in the skills routine, Matt was good, but not that good, his spin wasn't any where near as good as Jorgie's and Matt slipped up in his main routine, that didn't deserve a 9.5, I also thought I saw two other slips, but as they weren't mentioned, I guess it was meant to be like that.

I agree, I miss Riley and Doug's friendship and I miss Ethan too but the way I wanted their friendship to play out didn't happen very well on screen My favourite moments between those characters were more recent developments like when Ethan returned after the Silas time, or when Doug was there for Riley over Mercedes.

I also must say how pleased I am Doug's getting more screen time. He used to disappear for weeks at a time and then only show up for other people's stories but since the suicide plot and now his business with Ste, I couldn't be happier that he's getting his own stories

I cant put my finger on it but the doug I loved was when he was with Bex, mourning Bex, with the 'guys' acting like a student, he still does but I cant really stand him with Ste and vice versa, although when they're on their own - great. I'm moaning, I wanted Doug screen time and now...

Ste has always been campy, bitchy, but it seems to be showing more lately. The brendan thing that some people obviously loved, is that ever coming back? Amazing then but he was forced to be submissive? Has Ethan ****ed off for good? I really cant remember!

And Jorgie seems lovely, but her simpering character oh my god please just die already. I keep waiting for carmel to properly realise that the kid she lives with killed her husband and actually doesn't give a ****.

BIB - I assume Pheebs nicked it. Perhaps she found a charger in Price Slice and uses an outlet when Frankie's in the back room.

On Bex, no prizes for guessing who inspired Daisy Turner. Was bizarre to see Stacey leave the square, die her hair blonde and head north. Having said that, the actor certainly had on-screen presence and good chemistry with PJ.

A comment I forgot to add the last day - in the E4 episode, Carmel was wearing her Cinergy uniform and talked about home visits.

Has she got a new job? Or are there just some outstanding clients from Cinergy who've they determined to cater for? Though you think they'd be cancelled, unless they're outstanding to pay off some of Cindy's debt....I don't know.
We could assume Carmel's gone in to self-employment, but then she wouldn't have been complaining about home visits

Another thought is it could be part of her laywork, but I don't know why she'd wear a revealing uniform for that.
