That's the Myra I recognise, she had a great scene with Mercedes. A rare occasion when I feel sorry for Mercy.

Drugs bust on Chez Chez was stylish but carried on that bit too long.

Was a bit of a bizarre shift for Callum, we need to find out why. Being with Maddie for so long can't be healthy. Glad they've followed up on Phoebe.

Ste/Amy/Micks was fine but not ground breaking. Michaela is better in small doses. I'm expecting some more cringy Amy + bemused Ally scenes before we move forward.

No post credits scene, how odd. They didn't leave many options though - best they could've done was have George looking at a pic of Phoebe on his phone or something.

Really wanted to see Joel & Theresa finally get together and kiss but then Brendan ruined the moment :/

When Joel knocked on the door at the start of the episode and Mercedes opened the door, and all you saw was flowers and Joel's chin, I thought the screen would pan away and later go back to reveal Riley standing at the door.

I liked Michaela during her first spell in the show, and during the Later episodes. Since she's been back in the main show, though, she's been nothing but annoying. I've not found her funny like I used to and she just seems to be in the way.

That Callum stuff was a little odd. It did seem a bit out of character. Maybe it's not out of character and it's just a side we haven't seen yet. Maybe it's always been there.

The E4 announcer referred to Ruby/Jono as a roller coaster. I HATE it when people use a roller coaster cliché.

I want more Micks/Amy scenes, their friendships always been one of my favorites in HO!

See I was personally glad that they returned to that side of him, he was very much attitude boy at first so its not really a big leap. He likes the people he likes and everyone else can go to hell I guess. That being said i'd really like that to go somewhere.

The e4 woman called it the 'Juby Rollercoater' which is what Claire Cooper calls Jacqui and Rhys i.e. The 'Racqui Rollercoaster' and that kind of annoyed me.

I thought there were too many stories going on in that episode. They should have dropped one and just has three going on. The Ste and Amy stuff was just filler anyway.

Not really - it was setting up Ste getting an interview at College Coffee, and showing that Amy still fancies Ally.

"Juby" that name does make me laugh!

And I agree about Callum, he made me laugh this episode. Thats a personality trait he's always had, its just been exaggerated.

They could have just covered that next week when he actually goes for the job.

I liked the episode, no bad characters in it. I'm glad the Phoebe storyline is being revisited, the Callum scenes at the beginning were abit random but fitted with how Callum was initially. I liked the Mercy/Myra scenes too hopefully we'll see more of them.

E4 is next week.

I missed George a lot. If this is the weeks set up, next week will be the best week of Oaks in a while. Loving the character mix.

I also don't like it when they use too many characters during one episode so that it looks as though they have tried to stuff too many scenes within an half hour program.. XD

I agree, it could be a good week if today's episode is anything to go by. Callum and George are good, something is happening with Callum. Brendan and Mitzeee, Joel and Theresa, Ste, and Doug, hopefully we will see some freshers as well.

However we still haven't seen Lynsey and Cheryl help Bart and Sinead, when was that meant to happen? I hope it was a false spoiler.

Can someone clear something up for me? Because I don't really undetstand what a sixth-form college is tbh, we don't have them in Scotland as far as i'm aware.

Do you go there for one year or two? Is it after your GCSEs to do A levels?

Year 10 and 11 is when you do GCSE's. Year 12 you complete AS levels and then Year 13 is A2 levels, at the moment year 12-13 are not compulsory but from September 2013 they both are, I think! Also, a full A level is only available once you have completed both years, otherwise you have only a half A level! Some people only do year 12 but not that many leave!
Hope that helps

Oh, thanks . So I guess the sixth-formers will be at college for this year and next and then they'll probably be the new freshers providing they're still around. Although not everyone likes them it does mean that we wont get another set of new characters which is good in my opinion because we dont need anymore.

It has confused me for years when ever I watch anything set in a school in England, different system here - different qualifications, don't know why I never thought to ask til now.

*sigh* Joel/Theresa
Pointless, pathetic love triangle

Mercedes all of a sudden sturggling to cope after Silas, pushing Riley and her son away, and ashamed of the 'prostition'? Why now? We needed to see Mercedes and the McQueen clan dealing with Mercedes giving Bobby away when it happened, i.e. seeing Jacqui going off on one, Myra going mad and everyone wondering why? But there was no immediate reaction from it, because the teens took priority!

I did like Myra being there for Mercedes though and found Myra's "I just don't know what to do to help" line really difficult to watch. Myra just feels helpless and I felt for Mercedes for feeling how she did with the whole "I wish Silas killed me" and for Myra feeling helpless and I just empathise with Merecedes, despite her wallowing in self pity. Sometimes it's not so easy to keep that guard up.

Brendan plotting against Joel and trying to get him arrested had me more than half watching, but nothing came of it. Pointless.

No post credit scene and the announcer say the "Jono/Ruby blah blah blah..." - Stop saying that when they aren't even in the flipping episode!!

All in all disappointed!
