Do you put whole albums on your iPod, or just the songs you like?

For example, today I was going through a singer's music and just put their songs that I like onto my iPod, rather than whole albums. Do you do similar, or put all of the album (for purposes of completeness) and try to listen to the songs you are not keen on until you like them?

I put whole albums on and only delete individual songs if I really don't like them.

I only put albums I like on my iPod, there's no point in having music you don't like on your iPod imo but if I like the whole album then i'll put the whole album on.

Whole albums, I have a 32GB iPod so I've got loads of space (not including apps, photos and video, but they don't actually take up a lot).

Whole albums, 32Gb so not restricted for space...I tend to listen to complete albums and just skip a track if I'm not enjoying....rarely use shuffle

I put on the whole album but I always skip the same songs. There's usually one or two duds on them.

160gb and have 13000 songs on there and it's still got tons of room. So whole albums for me too. I NEVER cherry pick songs - they're called albums for a reason kidz!!

I cherry pick with certain albums and others I don't. I usually include every song on every album from my favourite artists.

And they have to be perfectly tagged and with decent quality covers - I rarely go with what Itunes give me.

I have a 32GB iPod but it's nowhere near space. I'm going to get a 64GB Iphone soon I think.

Cherry-picker,me.
There's only 2 complete albums on my i-pod,the Bruno Mars one & 'What's the story..' by Oasis.. as I like every track on those two.

I usually just put the songs i like on my ipod, whether thats a whole album or not, meh, depends on the album really, but there is no point in having songs on it that im never going to listen to or dont even like. For me that ruins the flow of the album, having to skip one or two duds among loads of gems is annoying.

I have a 64gb card in my phone so I have my whole itunes library (around 30gb) on there.

Why wouldn't you put whole albums on there? Sometimes I like to listen to an album start to finish, as the artist intended. Even songs you aren't as keen on, you grow to like.

I often find the obvious, catchy songs on an album can quickly get boring.

Never listening to albums fully is to me a bit like reading a book and skipping the parts you don't like. It should really be read as a whole, even if some parts are better than others.

I suppose this wouldn't really apply to most pop albums though which often just appear to be a collection of singles shoved together in no particular order. Not listening to a concept album in the order it was intended though is practically criminal in my book

It's like people who just stick all their music on shuffle. Do you not get in the mood to listen to a particular band? Do you just want 'music' on and it doesn't really matter what it is?

I only put the songs i like. No point in having weak songs taking up space on your Itunes and Computer
But I am finding myself increasingly liking albums with every song
Plus i only have 8gb ipod so it would be impossible if i wanted to anyway

Depending on album and space the entire album or if it's like an artist i love and have all their albums for the sake of space i will abridge their albums.

It depends on the album (and obviously space), but I usually have the songs I like.

I generally tend to put full albums on and skip through disliked songs, but in some cases I will put individual songs on.

It also depends somewhat on the genre, I like trance but don't purchase full albums, just individual tracks that I have heard and liked.
