So my veg box included one of these lovely roots... its a pretty big beast and I've run out of ideas has anyone got any recipes to recommend? I'm loathe to waste whats left.
I've tried...

Raw with a dressing
Dauphinoise style (this was lovely!)
Roast Butternut Squash / celeriac & ginger soup (my own creation and it went down very well with my dinner companion, I liked it too)
has anyone got anything to add?

celeriac chips are nice too. I watched a video where the guy tried frying the chips in a pan v oven baking them. He said the ones in the pan tasted better. I tried them tis way and they were lovely.

Mustardy celeriac mash: http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1...-celeriac-mash

It's lovely. It was the first time I'd tried celeriac and I loved it!

Nah.. good quality heavy bladed chef/cooks knife is all you need... or a big chopper
I might try some of the "mash" variations on offer...
