True but Taylor crosses over to pop so in this instance ima stick with my opinion (why change a habbit )

And she does on occasion make enjoyable music she seems nice but i would just rather have someone with a little more bite

Well thats nothing new, she has been offkey at many shows.
Think her acting like a chav once again and being upstaged by a boyband should keep them all quiet for a few hours anyway

Thats always the problem when you are up for many awards, always a chance someone will come along and upstage you and its always some lame boyband that normally does it.

I think people would respect her more if she just like acted normal, she really needs to drop this chav act ASAP before she does unrepairable damage to her image.

Taylor isn't a country artist though, she is a pop artist. It's a bit like saying Blink 182 are a punk band.

I think its really unfair to totally dismiss the UK as a market, which you have done in previous posts, simply because it doesn't buy into your favourite artist.

Ignoring boybands, Taylor Swift and Ed Sheerhan.

Adele can't sing live.

She's shown it so many times.

Blame her equipment, her hair, her god knows what.

She can't sing live. Tonight's performance (amongst others) has proven that.

I hate the brits with a passion. Good on her for giving all those industry arse lickers the finger.

The only descent thing the brits ever did was give Arcade Fire two awards. (I am to AF, what GL is to TS.)

Really, her performance was ok tonight but it was a weak one for her , 99% of her other performances have been great live, its one of the reasons she is doing so well

Taylor is not a country artist LMFAO.

Go check out how many country artist awards she has won or comments by Garth Brooks who is one of the greatest country artists of all time who stated he expects taylor will go on and become the greatest country artist of all time.

I've nothing against Taylor Swift...but the greatest country artist of all time?! I don't think so. Surely when people think of country, do they not think of artists such as Johnny Cash? That right there is one of the most influential country artists of all time.

That isn't me slating TS by the way, there is room for everybody, it's just my opinion.

garth brooks is terrible and taylor swift is country pop as shown at the ama's in 2008 when she won Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist and when fearless was nominated for best pop/rock album a year later, but hey just you go ahead and ignore this/ claim its not true like you always do

Oh please, if Taylor Swift is country then I'm the queen of England. She is pop artist, through and through, sure she may have country elements in her music, but she is still pop.

And since when did Garth Brooks word become gospel? You mean to say the absolute truth is being said buy the same guy that created the album Gath Brooks in...the life of Chris Gaines. Enough said

Every one has opinions and they all stink. Here's Time Magazine's opinion on Adele's Brit performance.

Adele, “Rolling In The Deep”
At this point, it’s actually embarrassing how effortless and easy Adele makes singing sound. In what’s only her second performance since undergoing throat surgery, she simply knocked “Rolling In The Deep” out of London’s O2′s arena and into the stratosphere. The performance defies criticism, a musical version of the end of The Matrix, when Keanu Reeves deflects all his attackers without even knowing how he’s necessarily doing it. The Londoner is at the peak of her powers two albums into what could turn out to be a remarkable career. To her credit, considering how many times she has sung “Rolling In The Deep,” Adele still infused it with a sense of menace, while retaining the majesty and soul contained within.

Grade: A+

For those who say she can't sing live just turn the f*ing channel. Problem solved.

HDD

Adele's 21 will easily score another week at #1, her 22nd, with an estimated total now close to 300k.
That would send the album up to 7.6 million over the course of its year in the marketplace, and makes it the favorite to finish as the top-sellng album for two years in a row, a first for the Soundscan era.

Great for her! But lets not pretend that Taylor is doing bad.

Her lowest selling album has sold 5,5 mil. Show me another solo artist whose 3 or more albums have all sold that much.

beyonce, britney, madonna, whitney, mariah carey all sold massively more than taylor swift with their first three albums

shakira has comparable sales over her career which includes three spanish albums

lady gaga and adele have much bigger sales than her over 2 albums

Not forgetting:

Quote:
“Adele and the Beatles are the only acts ever to post three songs in the Hot 100's top 10 and two albums in the Billboard 200's top five in the same week.”

If I was Taylor I'd go back to co-writers like on 'Fearless'.
