Adele deserves the adoration she is getting but please don't forget she has the best songwriting team in the UK who create a factory of hits,
It matters to me that she;'s not the complete artist since akthough she has written a few songs most are either co written or written completely by one of the team. You can't go wrong with this team behind you.She admits she should have thanked probably these guys more but I don't blame her since the night was so emotional. Please give credit to Adele team UK Read here

To be fair she did write some songs on her first album but its clear to everyone that her songwriters have played a big, big part in the sales success of 21 and fully deserve any credit they get.

She thanked every single guy when she won at the grammy's and she has written or co-wrote all her songs never has anyone written a song for her and plenty of artists have co-writers you should watch her acceptance speech in which she thanks her entire team and by name

And she is not the only artist to use co-writers plenty do like Taylor Swift and look at the beatles how does using a a partner diminish your artistry

I think she's got a fabulous voice but I've found her songs quite weak tbh, it's only her performance that carries them off, had they been done by someone less gifted vocally, they wouldn't have been nearly as popular as they are.

Taylor Swift and The Beatles in the same line. Get some perspective. The Beatles had three major songwriters who were also the performers. They seldom wrote together after about 1965 but they collectively changed the course of popular music. Plus some of their solo work is also extremely successful and innovative. And they occasionally collaborated with other artists. Different ball game all together.

Hey GL. Just figured out that Taylor Swift had co-writers on almost every song from Fearless! Every song! Are you freaking kidding me? This whole time you have talked sh!t about Adele's co-writers! Back to TS. Here is a partial list of her team of writers (pretty famous lot). Liz Rose, who wrote five songs from Fearless (yes, 5), John Rich, Colbie Caillat, Hilary Lindsay, Tommy Lee Jones, Cary and Nathan Barlow.
How many did Taylor write by herself? One?!

And no one has ever written a song for Adele. She is at least co-writer. On every single song (except the two covers, obviously).

there is no comparison between the beatles and taylor swift, they had no co writers as the people in the band wrote everything, the best taylor siwft single is a thousand times worse than the worst beatles single, there is absolutely no comparison

I do laugh at you lot trying to say that artists that dont write their own songs are basically inferior to those who do
One word... Elvis ( and I am not a fan of his at all) I believe he didnt write ANY of his. So what does that make him?

The biggest laugh is the usual adele stans dragging tayor swift into yet another adele thread.

I mean i know they are clearly jealous of her and they know she is in a different class to adele but surely they need to find another artist maybe at adeles level to get jealous on.

My point precisely. I don't necessarily agree about the gulf in class but the original commentator was misrepresenting the writing process in these cases. You have to compare like with like. And The Beatles and Taylor Swift simply aren't like with like.

Way to try and divert attention GL. The fact remains Taylor Swift had help writing her biggest album! You are such a hypocrite. This is classic. I have no doubt the co-writers don't want to be reminded that they wrote that immature crap. Love this! Hahaha! I've lost count GL. What is Taylor now better than Adele at? Oh yes, the arena tour. Hmmmm. Check back with us in six months!

well that's true

yeah Elvis was shit, and Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holliday etc as well as all groups ever cos you can't take collaborations seriously.

the only genuine artist is the one-man-band you might find at the bottom of the escalator at your nearest tube station

Nope. My work here with you is done. Wow. After everything you have said GL. I'm kind of disappointed. You've just lost the legs you were standing on. That argument no longer exists. And you knew the whole time.

Actually, she was correct. Fearless is Taylor Swift's biggest album commercially and critically.

She co-wrote her songs... So?

Do you think you came across something that would end her career or something? She has never said she writes all her songs, so what's the point in this thread?

I'm not absolutely sure but I will sy that I was a little disappointed when I discovered Adele wasn't the complete singer-songwriter. But only a little disappointed.

Just because she co-wrote it doesn't mean that she didn't make a significant contribution to her songs. She wrote the majority of the songs on her first album and has shown that she is more than capable of writing high quality songs.

Yes but i didn't com pare them i used both as examples that most people write with another person which is no detriment the person as artist your turning something positive into a negative

And its funny the hypocrisy of certain stans saying Taylor swift being dragged into another Adele thread when they brought themselves and her into it again and to be jealous of Taylors success more bemused that such imature lyricism can prosper Fearless was a good pop country album ends there.
