I have no idea whether she has retired or not (she is 72 after all), but it doesn't seem as if she has stopped working. According to Wikipedia, she released a live album in 2009.

She doesn't want to work until she's dead .... like most people.

Tina's amazing. If she's retired, I hope she's enjoying every moment. She's certainly earned it.

Her tour a couple of years back was great, but I guess it was more of a topping up the retirement fund affair than a relaunch of her career. Fair enough I think, she deserves to live well and live long now.

It was hilarious seeing her at about 70 years old completely blowing Beyonce off the stage at the Grammy's a few years back too. If she DOES decide to comeback, she's clearly still got the chops.

The woman is 70+, worked hard all her life. Let her have her time to herself. She has retired.

Miss her? When was she last relevant TO miss?

Great lady and all but hardly mainstream now. I think she still tours now and again for her fans?

The woman is a living legend. Her last studio album may have been a while back but her last world tour was a sell out and garnered rave reviews. Some people miss her releasing new music which is understandable. Some posters on here really need to read up on music history.

If you can sell out 15-20,000 seat arenas in every city you play in, you're relevant to music fans and those willing to pay to hear live music.

Considering what she has come through in her life, and her achievements, I think she deserves a break!

I would love to see her live (I missed the last time she was in Belfast) but if it never happens, that's the way it is. She has definitely left an amazing musical legacy, I don't believe that she has to keep popping out new songs all the time to cater to some fans
