Swimming against the tide if hate, I will first say I didnt like him it his singing style on d factor. I quite like the White Stripes. However, I actually really like this. Haven't head the other version and really am not bothered with the comparison. This.is the one on the radio and this is the one I like .

I prefer the original White Stripes version which charted better (#7) in 2003.
But at least he's British & the only non-white solo male artist in the Top 30 who hasn't got an 'explicit' tag next to the song title on the I-tunes chart. |

Good luck to him. I just wish he'd been a bit honest about copying the style and arrangement from Ben l'Oncle Soul instead of saying it was his 'take' on the original.
