Abi feels abandoned, after Tanya’s cancer, and Lauren’s rampage have provided the talking point for the Branning family in the past months, and she subsequently locks herself in her room. As Cora tries to talk her down, Abi confesses the secret she has been hiding for months- she is being bullied at school. As Cora comforts an emotional Abi, she realises that the family have overlooked Abi’s unhappiness. Heather and Rose are forced to do some talking, when they are locked in the launderette together by Andrew and Dot! Rose confesses that she would disapprove of whoever Andrew was marrying, and it is nothing personal. The conversation turns to family and Heather says that Dot is the mother she never had. Rose encourages Heather to invite Queenie to the wedding, but Heather tells Rose that her mother would definitely ruin the wedding. Tanya returns from the hospital, and Cora tells her of Abi’s bullying. Tanya blames herself, saying she should’ve realised the signs, and she could’ve stopped it if she had stopped sympathising with Lauren, and she storms out. Cora goes after her, and frankly tells her that the main weakness of the Cross women is that they walk away from problems. As Abi goes to the bathroom, she sees some pills on the side, and makes the decision to end everything. After she swallows the pills, she collapses to the floor…. Duff Duff: Abi Branning lying on the floor after her suicide attempt. |

Andrew hear her cries, and Andrew rushes up the stairs, and attempts to talk to Abi, only to get no response. Tanya pushes him away, as he attempts to calm her. Elsewhere, Roxy takes Amy to the swings, only to find a manipulative Michael following her. As he rambles about how much they both hate Derek, and how with her help they could take him down, Amy falls, cutting her head in the process. Roxy feels guilty, and realises that she needs to be more careful with Amy. The ambulance arrives, and safely enter the bathroom. As the paramedics attempt to resuscitate Abi, Max arrives, only to see his daughter being stretchered into an ambulance! Is this a wake up call for the Brannings? A critically ill Abi remains in hospital, and Tanya and Max are frantic with worry, and their ordeal continues when Lauren reveals she knew about the bullying, but thought it was harmless so therefore made no attempts to stop it. Max blames a frightened Lauren, but Tanya still believes it is her fault, as she didn't notice the changes in Abi's behaviour, as the family sit by Abi's bedside, she awakes from her coma! Mandy and Lucy argue yet again, when Lucy accuses Mandy of only staying with Ian for stability and financial support, leading Mandy to confess her feelings for Ian, and her only motive for marrying him- because she loves him! Ian overhears this from the kitchen, and realises that Mandy was telling the truth over Lucy's attempts to spoil the day! The Branning's are relieved that Abi is in a stable condition, and Carol suggests that Tanya goes home and gets some sleep, as she has remained by Abi's side since Abi's suicide attempt. As Tanya leaves, Max and Carol try to keep Abi's spirits high by telling her about the whole family visit to see Jim the following week! A flash sports car speeds through Albert Square, only to make a hast stop outside of the Beale's! As Mandy and Ian rush out to see what is happening, Peter Beale steps out, much to Ian's surprise! Duff Duff: Peter Beale reunites with his father, Ian! |

Christian and Syed go for a walk with Yasmin, behind Amira's back. When Amira spots them together, she orders Syed to hand Yasmin over, but he refuses, saying that he has every right to see her, because she is his father. Amira responds by telling him he knows he is welcome to look after Yasmin, but not when Christian is around. However, Syed fights back- telling her that he is in love with Christian, and Yasmin will grow to understand that. Angry, Amira slaps Syed- and to her horror, her current boyfriend Anthony drags her away! Abi is told that she should be able to go home in the next few days, but the Brannings are faced with the problem of whether they should look into transferring her to another school. Abi gets upset when she realises the decision is being made for her, and tells her family she wants to go back to her own school, as then she can watch the bullies receive the punishment that they deserve. Ben arrives at the hospital to visit Abi, and he promises that if anyone says anything, he will protect her. Abi thanks him, but is she aware of how far Ben is willing to take revenge? Peter builds an immediate bond with Mandy, much to Lucy's horror and frustration! When Lucy argues with Mandy, Peter intervenes, saying that he knows she doesn't care if Mandy is good enough for Ian- she only cares about herself not getting any attention! Duff Duff: Lucy is in shock after Peter's outburst! |

The Branning's are relieved when Abi is released from hospital, and it looks like she is on the right track to make a full recovery- from the suicide attempt as well as her bullying. However, when they arrive back at No.5, the family are met with graffiti covering the walls- all of which is insulting a vulnerable Abi. As Abi collapses to the floor in tears, Max ventures across the Square to find the culprit, and is shocked to see Lola throwing paint over the Car Lot! He immediately shouts at her to stop, but it is obvious she won't go without a chase! As Max chases the pregnant teen across the Square, she trips and clutches her stomach in agony! Will the baby survive? Denise and Kim are happy to be one step closer to reopening the B&B, but Zainab feels uncomfortable, knowing that the place which killed evil Yusef, as well as causing burns to Tamwar will be open for the public once again. Afia feels more uncomfortable with the situation, and screams at Kim to cancel the renovation project! Mandy gets to know Peter, and thanks him for revealing Lucy's true colours. Peter tells her that it was no problem, and he was protecting his Dad, as Ian is at his happiest when he is with Mandy. Mandy offers Peter a glass of wine, which he accepts. As the pair drink, Peter leans in for a kiss with Mandy, and she responds! However, the kiss is cut short when the door slams! Duff Duff: Peter and Mandy are in shock after they were caught! |

An injured Lola recovers at home, after she was revealed to have been responsible for bullying Abi. Max ventures to see her, and attempts to confront her. Billy says he can't see her until he says sorry for causing her fall. Max is disgusted that Billy thinks a few cuts and bruises are more important than Abi trying to commit suicide because of what Lola and her friends have been saying. Billy defends her, saying Abi must have brought it on herself. A furious Max punches Billy and storms out! Ian asks Ben to step down from his best man duties, so that Peter can take his place! An upset Ben agrees, but is annoyed when Peter refuses to be best man! Ian asks him back, and despite being angry, he accepts the role once again! Lucy and Mandy argue yet again- this time over a pair of straighteners that Lucy 'borrowed' and 'accidentally' broke! Alfie decides to have a 'Murder Mystery' party at the Vic, and Jean is overjoyed to be asked to do the food! With the party date set for the 23rd March, Heather is delighted she is able to attend the party, as she and Andrew don't leave for their honeymoon until the day after! Ray attempts to make conversation with racist Derek in the pub, and Derek claims that it is against his human right's to talk to someone 'like him'. Alfie asks Derek to leave, only to have his request laughed at! Duff Duff: Ray and Alfie look at Derek in disgust! |

Zainab goes to see Anthony, and tells him that Amira has refused to let Syed see his daughter. Anthony informs her that Amira and Syed had an argument after she caught him and Christian walking in the park with the child. Zainab is furious, as she thoroughly dislikes Christian! Anthony tells her that he believes that despite Christian bringing 'shame' on the Masood family, he should be allowed to see Yasmin with Syed- as it is obvious that they love each other, and nothing will change that! Anthony turns around to see Amira stood behind him, and she is furious that he has taken Syed's side! Alfie feels lonely, when Kat calls and tells him she will be staying with Charlie for a few more weeks. In order to cheer him up, Roxy invites him and Tommy for a playdate with herself and Amy, and Alfie takes her up on the offer! He leaves Jean in charge whilst he goes to Roxy's with Tommy! Anthony is left red faced, and tries to explain his view to Amira, but she is having none of it and she throws [b]Anthony[b] and Zainab out! As they bang on the door pleading to be let back in, Zainab hits Anthony and tells him that he has potentially stopped her from seeing her grandchild! Alfie and Roxy are chatting, and Alfie suggest they watch a film, as they cuddle up together on the sofa, Alfie kisses a shocked Roxy, but she pulls away, saying that he will be cheating on Kat. He tells her that Kat has cheated on him more times than he can count, and he suggests they spend the night together tomorrow! Duff Duff: A hesitant Roxy agrees to sleep with Alfie! |

Dot, Jack, Max, Carol, Derek and Abi go to see Jim, and they are shocked to hear that he is weakening, and becoming more dependent on the nurses. Dot leaves the room, and goes to inspect the rest of the home, making sure it is in good condition for her husband! She is upset to see a man- around the same age as Jim looking pale, and staring aimlessly out of the window. She becomes even more distressed, and flees the home in tears! Does Dot regret her decision to leave Jim in a home? When Jack returns home, Roxy asks him if he would like to look after Amy that night, and he gladly accepts! However, when he goes into the Vic and hears Alfie asking Jean to look after Tommy, he realises something is going on, but stays quiet. As Alfie gets ready for his night of passion with Roxy, Jack pressures Jean for details, but she is in the dark as well! An upset Dot is spending time with Tanya, and the women share their troubles together. Tanya is upset because Lauren chose not to attend the visit to the home so she could go out partying. When Dot asks why Tanya didn't go, Tanya makes an emotional confession- she woke up and found hair on her pillow. Roxy and Alfie have sex, and the pair realise that they have ignored the obvious chemistry for too long! However, Roxy tells Alfie that it can't happen again, and if they are going to have an affair, it will be unsexual, so no one is hurt. Dot comforts Tanya, and Tanya reveals all of the hurt she has experienced over the past few months, and now the end of her treatment is in sight, she is more scared than ever, as she does not know whether the treatment will be successful. Julia's Theme: Tanya cries into the arms of Dot, following their heart to heart. |

Mandy and Heather prepare for their joint hen party, and it soon becomes clear that they both have more in common than they'd like to admit. They both realise they have a devious family member who opposes the wedding- in Mandy's case it is Lucy, and in Heather's case it is Rose. As the pair share a bottle of wine together before the guests arrive, Mandy admits she shared a kiss with Peter, and she thinks someone caught them! Heather questions whether Mandy will stay faithful after she is married, and Mandy falls quiet. Is marriage the best thing for Mandy? Alfie asks Roxy to do a few shifts at the bar, and Jean happily agrees to babysit! With Ian and Andrew's stag night coming up, Roxy tells a suspicious Jack that Alfie needs an assistant, so he can enjoy himself! Jack slips upstairs, and investigates Alfie's bedroom. When Jean catches him, he tells her he was just looking for a clean shirt, as one of the punters has had a drink knocked over him, Jean sees through is lie- is she also suspicious? The celebrations are in full swing over at the Beale's, and Dot is already slightly tipsy! As Heather belts out George Michael hits, Shirley decides to take her home before she makes a fool of herself! However, the party atmosphere is cut short when Lucy cuts of the electrics! In the Vic, a stripper arrives, and soon catches Tyler's eye! As he seduces her and takes her to the bathroom, it becomes clear he intends to have sex with her! However, Michael tips off Whitney, and she storms into the gents, to find a naked Tyler canoodling with the stripper in one of the cubicles! Duff Duff: Tyler realises he has been caught out! |

![]() I personally believe when Max/Tanya had an affair behind Greg's/Vanessa's back, it should've been more about love and chemistry, rather than sex- which is why I have put that sort of relationship across for Alfie/Roxy ![]() also thanks to Becsie for her continued support |
