Beautiful Whitney ballads/songs that wern't singles/less known.
I am just getting into Whitney's music (as in i'm getting into her albums).
She is known for those big famous ballads, but what lesser-known ones do you like? |

my favourite was a single in the us and canada. however, people probably don't remember it unless they have `i`m your baby tonight` album. the song is called `miracle` and it was one of her best ballads in my opinion.

Run To You is surprisingly less well known. I think it is a great song.

I know it was released as a single but I think that All the man I need is so under rated.

One of my favourites Try It On My Own. I was about 13/14 when that came out and it was exactly what I needed to hear at that time.

All her songs were amazing. And she always knew what to do to make them special. God, she was good

'Hold Me' - beautiful duet with the amazing Teddy Pendergrass on her debut album.

All At Once from the very first album. It wasn't released as a single but was released to radio (in 1987)as a 'track' which meant it got a lot of airplay at the time. It was very popular and I am not sure why they didn't officially release it (although it had been a b-side).
For the Love of You from the second is a really great ballad as well, although slightly more up tempo. I have been listening to the first two albums again in a long time and they are very high quality. Its all very sad really

She probably could have released all of the songs from I Look To You album.
I reckon I Look To You the single, if promoted properly could have been a big hit. Nothin But Love Call You Tonight (Probably one of her best songs) Like I Never left Featuring Akon Salute and echoeing what someone else said I Didnt Know My Own Strength. |

I'm surprised no one has mentioned I Look To You. It's one of my favourite Whitney songs.
